I ordered this and had everything connected fine. It worked great for roughly an hour until I turned it to full speed on a 1 horse 3 phase motor. It then immediately died showing a short circuit error. I sent the item in to KB electronics 2 months ago now and have emailed every few weeks. I just received notice after emailing a 3rd time that numerous components in the device are burnt out with no mention of when or how much it will cost to get it fixed.I cannot recommend a product that's $350 immediately dies when hooked up and with this poor of support. At this rate ill own it for 6 months before I even get to actually use it. This return for repairs might be the worst customer service I've ever seen. Especially when they are a US based company.

When I accidentally cooked the controller on my professional knife grinder I found this controller (same model as original) for much less than other places. Ordered it and installed it finding it was a perfect swap for the OEM control, allows me to use the 3-phase motor on 120VAC without risking damage to the grinder or overloading the wall circuit.It uses the same durable, water and dust proof enclosure as the original and wired up in a jiffy.Been running solid for the better part of a year now.

Easy to set up, good instructions and works.I wish it had a little more torque at the lowers speeds, but this is my first vfd and I can accept that might just be the nature of them.
