After one month of playing with one bat, it is now slightly bent and the strings got loosened, which reduced the bat's performance (on average 3 days a week playing for at least an hour). I am not an expert player, but I do smash during play, and also the bat never had any significant collision. With this experience, I doubt it is durable for serious play even for beginners. After one month, I started using the other bat because of it and I will update if it performs better than the first bat.

This is a good recreation/beginner set that is perfect for the backyard game. The bag contained everything I needed to have a fun two player game. The bag itself is nothing special, but it's nice that it was included. I'm sure any serious player would upgrade this bag in a heartbeat. The rackets are well made and should hold up to the low stress games of badminton that occur in my yard. They are very lightweight and are very easy to swing. I'm definitely no professional and can't attest to how well the rackets perform, or how sweet the sweet spot actually is. It included three shuttlecocks which is always nice to have more, cause if there's one thing we either lose, or destroy...it's the shuttlecocks. The overgrip is another nice inclusion (although I'm not a fan of the color), but again nothing special. This is a very good started set, but if you're moving away from the recreation game, I'd probably spend a little more money elsewhere.

These Kawasaki racquets are as light as advertised. You'll get quicker response times and less fatigue playing with these beauties.Good string tension, and good looking, I think they'll make you a better more competitive player (with practice).The grips are a bit too small for my hands but they do come with extra grip tape. The real feather birdies included are labeled "Training" but rarely do I see players training with real feather birdies - a very nice addition to this set.Nicely done, 5 star product from Kawasaki (not just a motorcycle company) !
