The fillers don't work well, and the color of the marker is different from the color of the filler material.

We bought this kit when we moved out of our apartment and had some floor scratched from the dogs that we wanted to fix before we moved out. It did a great job at covering up the scratches and some are also not noticeable anymore. It has a good amount of colors to choose from. We ended up having to mix two of them to get the color we needed and it came out really good. The only problem is when you clean the floor the markers did wipe away, so I recommend using the paint filler since we did not have problems with that one.

Was impressed with how many different colors of furniture can be touched up with this kit, the different color fillers make it easy to start with a good base and then you can just use several different markers to blend to the existing finish. Very impressed at this price point!

The listing appears to show most of the markers to be wood-toned colors of varying hues. There are in fact only two that are actually a real wood color, one extremely light and one extremely dark. Most of my wood is somewhere between the two. The rest could only be used with painted furniture that happened to be painted that exact color, they certainly were not the colors of any varnished wood I've ever seen, let alone have any of. Additionally, of the two markers that were real wood colors, they were pretty dry and the ink was very thin and faint, and did not soak into the wood at all. With the markers so awful I was afraid to try any of the rest of the kit and I ended up throwing the entire set away. Complete waste of money.

As I am getting ready to move, I wanted to touch up some of the spots on the cabinets and floor. I purchased this kit because there are a variety of different methods to use.The crayons, which are supposed to fill the scratches with the colored wax, did not fill the cracks. The tubes of colored substance filled the cracks better but was not easy to apply and overflowed over the crack, making the spot more noticeable.The markers partially worked (preferred over the other methods) but some of the colors were dry. 😑Overall, there is always a possibility for user error. However, I have used another marker product for furniture repair and prefer that brand to this one.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m really happy about this product.We had our kitchen and living room redone last year, including the floors. Unfortunately, a lot of edge chipping occurred out of nowhere. The installer promised to fix things, but never did. A few months ago, we got a medium sized goldendoodle puppy, and that made the floors a lot worse. Lots of deep scratches and wood chipping.I figured I’d give this product a try. Our floors were in really bad condition for being not even 2 years old.At first, I tried the crayons, but they didn’t really do very well. Then tried the colored wood filler. The included colors weren’t a good match because I had a dark walnut color wood, but what worked was mixing the black and mahogany colors together, which made a very acceptable match.This stuff dries quite fast, and I found the best way to work with the wood paint is to apply it with a brush and then use a damp paper towel to lightly remove the excess paint after about 20-30 seconds. This is enough time for the paint to bond with the chipped wood and also have the excess wiped off.It was a bit of a learning experience, so I tried on a few easy spots to start off and worked my way up to the more challenging pieces. It was easy after the first 30 minutes.Overall, highly impressed by the product and definitely recommend.
