This is a great kit for beginner and looks really cute when finished. It is easy to follow instructions.

A cute kit but how good it looks really depends on your skill level it's not going to look perfect like it does in the photo for a beginner even though it's advertised as being for beginners. It does come with everything you need and it is a lot of fun.

I think it's acrylic, but not sure, will have to consult a translation app to be sure.I've seen this product before, so that's my biggest concern, that it's not an original design. The instructions are really not well written at all, with several mistakes. While an experienced crocheter could figure it out, this is not worthy of a quality product. Overall, I'm not impressed.

The Katech Crochet Kit for Beginners of bunny rattle toys has everything that you need to make two cute little bunny rattles.I would not suggest this as a first project due to the few flaws I found with it.First the pattern given does not make the same rattles as those pictured in the advertisement. There are a couple of errors in the pattern itself that I easily worked out- being that I crochet often but this style is not one I practice often. A beginner would not spot these.There is more than enough yarn, though it is difficult to determine exactly what it is made of since it has one word in English on it. My guess is that it is fully acrylic. It is soft and easy to work with at first. But if you have to undo stitches more than two or three times it begins to unravel. This makes working with it much more difficult and can lead to the piece looking sloppy.The little craft snippers do not cut the yarn at all. I am not sure what they will cut. But the stitch markers are wonderful little safety pin shapes. They give plastic needles for sewing the pieces together as well as a metal one. The rings are nice as well as the little rattles that pop inside the bunny heads.The instructions are realitvely straightforward if you have crochet experience. They do get the terms a bit wrong, but it is not too hard to get the idea.There is room for improvement, but also some good points to this kit.

This kit includes nice yarn and a plethora of well made supplies (with one possible exception) and it looks like you are given, when it comes to these supplies- over and above what one would need. In fact, when it comes to the sewing needles included,you get one whole package of them and a metal and plastic one in the bag that contains your crochet needle- the size of it 3.5. You can check out the photos I added too, which were taken when I checked out the kit.A tape measure (one I really liked), stuffing or filling for the inside of the rattle, stitch markers and a pair of scissors are included. Whenever I get crafting scissors in a crochet kit (just like the ones contained in this kit), sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. The pair of scissors in my kit did work and the kind this kit contained usually gives me the most success (but I have had other pairs like this fail). But since I wanted a nice pair of crafting scissors and got them, scissors that work great in a kit wouldn't sway me on what pattern kit to order.There is also sewing thread included and as you can see in the Amazon ad photo of the two rattles you make with this kit, there is some sewing of a nose and eyes on the project you have to do.Because of this, I wish there was a project video to watch (as I have the most issues putting items together whether sewing the parts together or sewing on the parts)- as many kits have. However, I found no links to even any beginners videos (which almost all other kits have, to at least show viewers how to do the stitches in the project) with this kit. So, you are only able to read the written pattern book they send you- to create these rattles.There are two rattle balls included (you insert into the head) as well as two very nice wooden circle handles for the rattles. They are very well made, smooth, perfectly crafted- and the rattle ball works very well, with regard to the sound it makes for the rattle.A negative about the pattern is that they seem written a little differently, word- wise so are a bit harder for me to understand because I am very new to being able to complete crochet kits like this. For instance round one is written like this:MR- 6 X SC into the ring [6]. While that was easy to decipher when you get to round four (the fourth row) the instructions read:SC in the next ST, INC, (SC in the next 2 ST, INC) x 5, SC in the next ST [24]. Hopefully, I am able to decipher and follow the instructions without too many mistakes, as the yarn is good but not enough to unravel more than three or four times without some issue with the way it would look when you reuse it after that many rows ripped and started over (because of mistakes).I would not recommend this project for those who have never done a crochet kit and those who need videos to finish a project. However, if you can read crochet written patterns well, the things included in this kit will make some terrific and nice looking rattles! All in all, because this project is marked beginner/ intermediate and because of the large amount of supplies and good quality rattles that can be created with the kit- it definitely deserves fIve stars.

What a neat idea! They are so cute and perfect as a gift. The kit comes complete with everything you need. Simple to understand.
