The kit is a perfect way to see if crocheting is for you. Simple instructions that are easy to follow for beginners. Comes with bright yarn that's of great quilty. Instructions, yarn, and tools all in one makes this a great value.

This is such a difficult process for me. I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it.

Hmm, I like this. There isn't any sort of video so you have to rely on the pictures - I did take it down a star for that because I don't think that that would have helped me if this was the first thing I was ever doing. I know reading the words would have just completely baffled me though now that I know how to do it. Even a link to someone else's tutorial on how to do basic things would be very useful. The colors are cute, and I really like both the measuring tape and the cutter that was included, and while the yarn isn't the easy to knit with t-shirt yarn, it's still a high quality yarn that doesn't fray easily, making it really good for a beginner to learn.I would say the instructional booklet could probably re-arrange itself and put the most basic cloth first but it started with a cat butt cloth which was way more advanced, so I'd definitely have put that later lolSo rated down only for lacking the video presentation that most other beginning kits give. Otherwise, 4 starts for this being quality!

I figured that because this was aimed at adults or kids, it might be a bit easier than the other new sets I have gotten. That was not the case. At least the other ones came with youtube videos to watch. This came with nothing. Maybe it's me, but these are tailored to beginners, so i thought they would be more beginner friendly.
