Have used on a couple of trips now, but have found the filter clogs easily and need to make sure we have a backup filter (or two) with us. Their method of cleaning doesn't work great. Once it's dirty it's very slow to almost nothing coming out. Weve already had to throw out one filter as it was impossible to get a good flow going no matter what we tried for cleaning. We will contact the company next year if we are still encountering issues. Kinda disappointed given the cost :(

The filter is a nice size for a group of 4 campers. It worked well but only for 2 days. There was a heavy amount of pollen at the time and I believe it cut short its effectiveness. Rinsing the filter did not seem to help.

I filter probably close to 50 gallons a year while out on adventures. This filter works fast and is easy to clean

Good thing I had 2 backup plans for water as I was 6 miles in a remote area of Montana. For the price you’d think it would do what it was built to do, hold water. No?

I started with the small .6L personal filter and reservoir - which is amazing! - and then moved to the 3L bag, which is great for taking on hikes near rivers. And then I finally got the 10L which is absolutely fabulous when we head out to the lake for the weekend, especially with dogs. We're no longer hauling in gallons of water, or making waste by buying all those plastic water bottles! It's simply amazing.We use this 10L for cooking, drinking, filling our camel bladders for our backpacks, and for the clean up! I never go on a weekend trip without this in my bag!!! Life Saver! (and back saver too!)

Filter filtert nur Viren etc. keine Absorption von Schadstoffen. Daher zurück - beworben waren kostenlose Rücksendungen. Das erste Label ist nur der Beipackzettel für Amazon. Mit einem Klick kann man ein Rücksendelabel anfordern. Das ist dann zum selber frankieren, darauf eine Notiz, dass auf Anfordern ein freigemachtes Label versdendet wird. Bin genauso gespannt wie genervt ob das klappt. Naja, sonst muss es der Amazonkundenservice wieder richten, der funktioniert perfekt. Harloop kommt dagegen bei mit auf die Blacklist!

The design of the cap thread does not appear to be effective at preventing water leakage. After I first assembled the cap on the bag the dripping began right away. The cap was straight, but I was able to tighten it further. Nevertheless, the water continues to drip. I then used thin white plumber's sealing tape around the thread which reduced but did not eliminate the dripping. Using another layer of the tape made the dripping even worse. In my opinion the design is inadequate. A rubber seal would have been appropriate.

This is my 2nd drip bag from katadyn. My original one (5-10 years old) couldn’t keep up with this one. Filters water so quickly and is fantastic for larger group hikes. Wouldn’t consider carrying anything else for a group of 3 or more hikers

Our family likes to go backpacking. Due to the amount of people in our family, a simple hand pump is not a feasible option.The operation is simple. Open it up, scoop up water and it filters the water. Make sure when you come home you clean it and The filter is cleaned out.
