(8 lb test) Spooled it up and made a few practice casts with it and it appears to run just like it should Nice and slick and comes off the spool very well. Should be perfect for my daily carry rod and reel.

The KastKing Hammer Alpha 9 braided line delivers in strength as expected. I purchased the 10 lbs test with a .004” diameter. It is smooth and casts well. I anticipate this line landing a bunch of walleyes in the future!

You can see with the naked eye how much thinner this 50lb braid is compared to this 40lb suffix braid… I had to look at the box to make sure y’all didn’t accidentally send me 10lb instead of 50lb. I’m impressed and the price is great!

Was only a PowerPro braid user. Love all other Kast King products, mono, mono fluro combo, reels, so gave it a try. The braid is stronger, less stretch , better knot strength than PowerPro. Will be using this going forward for both salt and fresh water.

Very impressive and highly recommend.I enjoy using quality braided line with different color variations to increase my fishing performance based on the river and weather conditions.I found the braided line was nice value for the money while delivering on key benefits of casting quality, strength, durability, and performance.It is also impressive that the dye does not come off on your hands or the reel.The line’s small diameter lends well to casting which is a critical feature.

This product advertises “colorfast” nope! Tried this product purchasing with Kast King pole and reels - highly disappointed.The customer service rep did not settle dispute, lied and said she was going to send a different product did not. Amazon does not resolve dispute with this vendor, I should have just returned, Amazon sends to Kast King and does not follow up. Assuming that is why is is not flagged for frequent returns.

This is a really nice fishing line and you can’t beat it for the price. First of all the color stays on the line and doesn’t come off in your hands. It is a nice small diameter so you can get lots on your reel and it casts better. I got the orange color and it great for sight fishing. It’s nice and smooth and with the 9 strands it’s super strong and hold knots well. I would definitely recommend this and it will be my go to braid.

Bought this to replace 50lb braid that I have only had on about a month. I was getting a lot of breakage while using it so I decided to replace it. I have always like KastKing brains and flouro so I wanted to give the Aloha a try and I’m glad I did. Very smooth braid going on and I was impressed that I didn’t have die on my fingers after I put it on the reel. Casting distance was good and retrieval was very smooth. Pulling the fish though the pads with easy and I haven’t had any issues yet. Going to put it on another setup for fishing too water as well.Keep up the outstanding work KastKing.
