Arrived not working. You do not know it doesn’t work until after installation. I 100% do not recommend this brand of appliance.

I’ve been using the Karinear 24-inch electric cooktop for a while now, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The 6000W power ensures quick and even heating, and the knob controls make it super easy to adjust the temperature. I love the sleek black ceramic surface, which adds a modern touch to my kitchen and is easy to clean. The only thing to keep in mind is that installation requires professional wiring, as it’s not a plug-in model. But overall, it’s a fantastic cooktop with a stylish design and reliable performance. I’d definitely recommend it!

Needed to replace an AEG hob which was around 15 years old, priced the sameagain and could not justify the high price asked.Looked at alternatives and selected this unit, really pleased with the performanceso far, {only time will tell on the durability}.Arrived quickly and well packed, direct replacement for the AEG size wise, nowgetting used to the digital controls.Hobs heat quickly and the zone controls on two of the hobs are useful additionsover the AEG.Note that four of these units cost the same as one AEG !, what's not to like !!. I am reviewing the Karinear 24 Inch electric cooktop, which at the time of this review was $229. We didn't jump right in and install this prior to testing, instead opting to hook it up to give it a thorough test before we did a full install. Upon first impression, it's a nice little cooktop. The 6000W is an accurate description of its power use, with 2 1800W and 2 1200W elements. That's plenty of power for this size. The burners look to be essentially the same as any typical cooktop of this type, so if one goes out they are relatively easy to replace. The dials have a satisfying 'click' when you turn them, though they might be a little too easy to turn if you are getting in there to clean. However, the indicator lights are nice and bright to let you know if you turned something on inadvertently. Oddly, the dials for each burner seem to be arranged with a confusing logic...where as you go down the knobs, you end up going counterclockwise around the burners, starting from the bottom right. It's just a weird design choice that will take some getting used to.The 24" wide form factor would be good for a smaller kitchen, like that found in an apartment, but keep in mind this means the cooking rings are closer together, so if you have larger pots, they may fight for the limited space. The cooktop itself is quite thin, which is nice since you could install this and still have room for a nice wide silverware drawer underneath it.My big concern was upon firing this up, there was some 'smoke' coming from one side of the unit. If we had installed this in place before testing, we would have never known this. Each burner came with some 'smoke', as you can see in the video. We removed the top to see what was going on, but there was no sign of burnt wires or melted plastic. However, we did see quite a bit of condensation inside the cooktop, despite this being stored indoors prior to testing. Our 'hunch' is that the ceramic rings under the burners probably had quite a bit of moisture remaining them, which evaporated out and then re-condensed inside the unit. So that smoke was probably just steam, but something that definitely concerned us at first and not something I feel should have left the factory in that condition. Had I installed this first and then noticed that, I would have had to remove the entire assembly and check for damages, which would have doubled my install time. Not something a customer should have to deal with. You can see the condensation in one of my photos.I also have a beef with sellers who advertise at a high price with constant large coupons. It breaks the sorting algorithm for customers trying to search by price, it messes up price tracking, and as a vine member, I pay income tax on the full price of the product, before the coupon. So I'm paying unnecessary tax on top of all the other risks I take with reviewing a high ticket item like this. Minus one star for that behavior.

Great price, looks good, works well. All good but I bought this for my mum who kept forgetting to turn her old hob off. This one instantly glows red, a light flashes next to the control warning that its hot when turned off. Most importantly if a pan is left on and forgotten about it senses the extreme heat and turns off! Good for OAPs
