We wanted to set this on the floor to display and the hinge design does make it necessary to hang. Otherwise no complaints - holds belts from Wushu nicely and looks nice!

Both my kids are in taekwondo and I needed something for their belts. I love the chalkboard at the top so I could write what I wanted. These are pretty sturdy, but not too heavy.
