It is a nice karaoke machine...I bought to do karoke night on vacation and it was a hit! Having 3 mics set it apart for me and it connected well to bluetooth on my tablet. You probably need an Karoke app on your phone or device. I have the KaraFun Karoke app on my tablet and it connected well and the sound quality was really good in combination. It is also a lightweight speaker system so it made it easy to take with us. You also need batteries for the mics so be sure to get them before your karaoke fun

Thrilled with the purchase of this karaoke machine! This device has quickly become the star of our household and a huge hit at our family gatherings. I was amazed with this portable karaoke machine. The sound was very clear & incredibly loud for such a small machine. This machine really brings the party. It also connects very easily to Bluetooth to the wireless microphones. The functionality quality of the microphone was also amazing no hissing or feedback when getting close to the speaker. The sound of your voice is very clear and sounds very professional. The quality of this product is very high end for the price. It is very light for easy-to-use and to pick up & take it anywhere. The size is perfect for easy storage. You can also connect to another one to get surround sound theater entertainment when watching movies. Added bonus this little machine comes equipped with a fm radio and antenna. It is just the best-selling karaoke machine I've seen yet. I'm sooo happy for this purchase.

Bought this unit for a church karaoke night. Sound carried over a large and loud room filled with about 80 people. It may perform a bit different in open air, but I'd expect the speaker to do well enough for an outdoor party night this fall.PROS:cheapsmall sizeconnectivity options are great...USB, Bluetooth, AUX 3.5mminternal battery3 wireless mics (AA batteries not included)very impressive level of outputCONS:Speaker does not come with a charger, but if you have an old 1A output brick laying around it will work great. Cables are included. The charge port will show RED when charging. BLUE when charged.Where some people praised the strong echo/rever... I just HATED it. I selected this model specifically because of the echo control. I needed to lower the echo so I could do some a cappella songs, but it was impossible. There are some troubleshooting tips, but the echo control does nothing. Absolutely nothing. So much mic echo. Too much echo. Did I mention it has a lot of mic echo.UNKNOWNS:Didn't have a second speaker to try the pairing option, but it sounds like a great feature. If I cave and buy a second speaker, I will post an updated to this review.OVERALL:If you are serious about karaoke, this likely isn't for you. If you are just getting into it or need a cheap and fully portable system that is better than toy grade, this will be a good selection. This will absolutely NOT work as a simple PA or for regular sound enhancement. Why...you guessed it...because of the overwhelming echo effect.Side note: I picked up a Plano 4 gun pluck foam case on super sale ($10) which worked great to store the microphones and accessories. I'd also recommend grabbing a wired 1/4" mic (about $10) from AMZN or Walmart to have for a 4th voice or as a backup.
