I’m 6’2” these go down to my knee caps when I have them pulled up as high as I can comfortably stand. They’re also baggy around the legs. I ordered size large and they fit my size 33 pants size fine. The outer material feels soft. The inner mesh feels cheap.

These are nice. Bright colors which are great for water safety. They’re true to size and the elastic waist is nice because they won’t slip down while getting in or out of water, but it’s stretchy enough to be comfortable. Pockets are always a great thing to have. The fabric is vibrant, not see through, and dries quickly. They hold up fine in the washer and dryer.Would buy again!

I ordered 2 pairs of black shorts, excellent. However, I then ordered a pair of the patterned shorts and they were really thin and 3 inches shorter. Clearly the shorts are provided by different manufactures. Make sure you read a review for the shorts you want to buy.

Good fit. Dry fast when wet. Lining a bit restrictive, but it does it's job. Doesn't shrink in the wash and color doesn't fade (or I can't see fade in one summer season).

There are around 100,000 reviews for the various Kanu Surf Swim Trunks. I bought the Havana style, but I suspect sizing info. applies to their entire product line. I read numerous reviews questioning/commenting on the difference between XXL and 2X. The general consensus is that they are the same. That is not correct.Kanu Surf offers both “Regular and Extended sizing.” XXL is their largest “regular size”. 2X is their smallest “extended size.” Personally, I found their “regular size” line to be cut small. I usually wear a XX. I could not get the XXL over my hips. They are that small! On the other hand, the extended size 2X fit me well. So, I think their “extended size” line seems true to fit, perhaps a bit generous. I also tried the 3X and it was way too big for me. So the take home message is if you are a “regular size,” buy one size larger than your usual fit. If your are an “extended size,” buy your usual size. The product itself is of good quality. Length is at or just above knee for my height (6’0). Inner mesh is comfortable material and fit. Two side pockets and a cargo type pocket with Velcro flap for a cell phone, etc. Small inside pouch at waistband for a key. Standard quick-dry type lightweight material. Large assortment of colors.I am deducting a star because the manufacturer should explain what their “Regular and Extended Sizes” mean, so the customer doesn’t have to buy multiple suits to figure it out.

Good fit on medium size, comfortable, worth the money. Good value. Had New Balance shorts that where 3x expensive and they where garbage, these are way better than any name brand.

To review the Kanu Surf Men’s Havana Trunks I will compare and contrast them to another, more expensive pair that is also available on Amazon; Speedo Men’s Marina Core Basics Watershorts. The Speedo’s I have had for awhile and worn about 20 to 25 times. The Kanu’s are newer and only worn twice.Size: Both are identical in size and fit with a 7 inch inseam and 20 inch side seam. Some reviewers have complained that they are longer than pictured; a tall model and long legs might explain that. I’m fairly short and both Kanu’s and Speedo’s are at my knees when worn at my waist just above the navel.Features: Both have elastic waistbands with drawstring, two side pockets, a small coin/key pocket and a cargo pocket with Velcro closure. Both have mesh lining for support and to form the pockets.Appearance: The Kanu’s are plain in a solid color, stitching to match and draw string on the inside. The Speedo’s have contrasting stitches, piping along the side seams and pockets, a logo on the left hip, and drawstring on the outside, laced through 4 eyelets. The Speedos look snazzier.Quality: I can’t say that there is a difference in fabric quality between the two; there could be but I don’t have the ability to tell the difference. Quality of construction is comparable. There is, however, a noticeable difference in quality on the inside of the two pairs. The mesh material on the inside looks and feels much better in the Speedos. Other reviewers have also noted the lack of quality on the inside of the Kanus.Price: Kanu’s are priced at $15.50. The Speedo’s vary according to size and color – mine were $24.98 but could cost someone else $40 plus.I can recommend the Kanu’s without reservation. The price is right and the quality for that price is impressive.
