Item seems to be installed by hand in spool. Low quality control. It does not look professionslly done. Will not order again.

only thing have to trust them on the length , haven't seen no thinning of the enamel as yet only wound 2 coils from this roll so far .

It is a fine small spool for chokes and other small uses of magnetic copper wire. I ordered this small amount to evaluate it before ordered their larger quantity spools for winding power transformers.

I ordered the 16AWG and the 20AWG, one being copper color and the other red, respectively. While I did receive the correct wire, the box that they come in shows incorrect information, which made me have to double check my order.The size in inches part is correct, but they both say "20AWG" when one is actually 16AWG. Strange. The wire itself looks good. The small, thin, flimsy boxes they are shipped in do little/nothing in protecting them during shipping, which resulted in the plastic spools being cracked/broken on arrival. Not a big deal since I have my own spools, but still inconvenient. I just wanted to post this review to warn others that, at first glance of the label, it may look like you got the wrong wire, but if you measure the wire itself, you will see it's probably the correct size.

The plastic role that the wire was wrapped on was broken and the wire unraveled as soon as I picked it up. I managed to use what I needed because I didn't have time to wait for another role. I blame the cheap housing of the product. The wire was fine.
