I'm really not sure what most people would need this for, seems really niche... but I use paired with its opposite twin to turn my 50' L14-30 cord into an 30A RV extension cord, since I needed the cord and other adapter anyways for other purposes... adding this one to the mix was waaay cheaper than buying a separate 30' RV extension cord. Be very careful using this for other purposes though, especially trying to actually plug something in that needs 220V (wont work!). TT-30P is a 120V plug, and L14-30 is 240V. Since it only has 120V coming in, the adapter pulls from the hot on the TT30P and feeds BOTH hot legs of the L14-30R with that same power. That is NOT the same thing as having 240V, so be careful and know what you are doing! Use extreme caution if you are using to backfeed your house panel as shown in the product picture, you will be feeding both "sides" of your panel from the same leg, so you would need to be sure turn off any 240V circuits (AC, dryer, oven, etc), and if your house is wired with common neutrals you risk overloading a common neutral and starting a fire!!

Does what it is supposed to do. Converts the rv outlet on my Igen2550 to a 30 amp transfer switch for my house.

We have a whole home battery back up and I needed an adapter for one of our circuits. This was the exact fit I needed.

In order to future proof my cords, I bought all the 4 prong cords for 120v/240v generators. My predator 5000 is only 120v and has the 3 prong female. To use my 240v 4 prong cables, i needed an adapter that was 3 prong male and 4 prong female. They are impossible to find. Westing house recommended an adapter, but the reviews say it is not bridged, so only One leg will power up. This, from the description and reviews, is bridged, so both legs will have power. I bought a device from my local electrical supply store that has a 30amp 4 prong plug outside, and it goes through my block wall and provides 6 outlets on the inside. It is Reliance Through-the-Wall Kit. When I eventually get my Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 Battery 4000w power station from Amazon, I will use the predator for 2 hours to charge the delta pro, and run everything in my house using the delta pro. When the delta pro runs out, I will use the predator again for 2 hours to charge the delta pro. This means I don't have to leave the predator outside for theives. The delta pro is 120v/240v so I can use my future proof 4 prong 240v cables with the delta pro. A lot of people are buying the predator 5000, so I wanted to show how I am using it. I will not be hooking it up to a transfer station hooked into my electrical panel.
