Looks outstanding - the gold finish is great . But I think the "never sagging" promise may be exaggerated. Though this is easy to fix - be sure not to let it run over longer spans without the third middle support and you should be fine. Great product.

These are nice looking rods, very well made and heavy duty. They hold my thermal backed, heavy grommet living room curtains like a champ. They did take longer to arrive then stated, but now seeing them up, I can excuse that.

We installed two kamanina branded double 1 inch curtain rods from about a month ago - One for our Slider Door in our Living Room and another for our Basement's Slider Door. Our house is newly constructed so we decided to do Window Treatment ourselves to save some money. They arrived in 2 days via Prime Shipping. Their build quality is very good for the money ($40 per curtain rod) - similar products at Home Depot or Lowes usually cost double this amount.Installing was where this got a little tricky. You do not need a professional installer for this job BUT if you are not particularly handy, it would help to do this with someone who is above average when it comes to handy/tool skills(a friend or family member) otherwise you can do some real permanent damage to your walls if you truly don't know what you're doing -- I had a good childhood friend of mine who is much handier than I am at home tasks help me out (Make sure you buy them some cookies after!). It's not particuarly difficult, but I would proceed with caution if you're a true handy novice - learning from someone else will give you confidence to install on your own!Important:Make sure that you know before you drill any pilot holes whether there are studs or not behind where you will be drilling. Make sure you use the dry wall anchors if there are no studs! This will tremendously make a difference in securing the hooks to hold heavy weighted curtains (8-10 lbs per panel). Also, we used different screws that what was provided in the curtain installation kit for the curtain rods. You will probably get by fine with the nails in their curtain kit if you're only hanging medium or small weighted curtains but if you're planning on hanging heavy ones - go to a local hardware store and get longer and more sturdy black nails.The final product itself looks fantastic and great. In terms of sturdiness, if you install these correctly, these should serve you well for several years to come. It saved us a bunch of money as opposed to going to a professional installers as many Window Treatment companies charge an arm and a leg. Good buy!
