Strong, but Light

Alloy is known for being both durable and lightweight and is perfect for use in a bike seat post. That's why we use 6061 aluminum alloy in this Kalloy bicycle seatpost. It's a reliable seat post that features a forged top cap and doesn't add much weight to your ride.

Choosing the Right Size

The seat posts are smaller in diameter than the stated size to ensure you get the right fit the first time. The diameter listed is for the frame seat post opening, for example 25.4mm. The seat post will actually measure smaller (about 25.0mm-25.2mm) so that it will fit into the 25.4mm opening of your bike frame.

Make sure to measure your bicycle seat post diameter before ordering.

  • Check the old seat post for a diameter mark on it and order the same size seat post.
  • Use a vernier caliper to measure the old seat post diameter and order the same size seat post.
  • Use a vernier caliper to measure the inner diameter of the seat post hole and order a smaller size diameter post to fit into it.

I have a Old GT mountain bike with an off sized post. 25.4 is to small although that is the size marked on my old seat post and 26 is the big. So this solved problem 25.8 works. It's light weight and a value for the money.

Love it. I bought an old used bike too replace the one I had stolen. The previous owner had taken a smaller seatpost and aggressively tightened the bolt to make it fit. This is the right size and is far sturdier than the old post. I am a big guy, weigh a bit over 300 lbs. I have used seatposts with the built in swivel mechanism in the past. The problem I tend to run into is the allen screw never seems to tighten enough to take the beating my heft puts on it. So far I don't have that problem. I will post something if that changes.
