This review is for: KALIDI Canvas Tote Bag Large Hobo Crossbody Shoulder Handbag Zipper Messenger Bag for Women or Men Casual College WorkThis is a well-made bag. It is neatly stitched and assembled. I purchased this one because it has a zipper closure and can secure your items inside. Additionally, there are zipper pockets inside and outside of this bag. The fabric is canvas and thick enough but does feel a little cheap. Maybe it is a polyester canvas. And the zippers are plastic. Still, it's a good value for this price point at around $20. If I needed another cross-body tote bag, I would consider picking this one up again.

Bigger than I was expecting. The description photo looked more like a crossbody "messenger" bag wide enough for a book or two; more like a purse. This is more classic messenger bag size and can hold a laptop, a few notebooks, the contents of a purse, and a bottle. Heavy duty canvas material and with equally strong zippers, this bag has one large inside pocket the height and length of the bag with a zipper and the front has one going across as well. Strap is a thick cotton and not tearing anytime soon. I like this bag for a carrying a change of clothes, some toiletries, and a book. Well made and the Army Green color is deep and beautiful.

I've been looking for a great, simple canvas messenger bag that is light weight, holds a good bit, and will be durable. This bag hits those marks and has more. The canvas is noticed right out of the mailer package. It is firm to begin with, which a good canvas should be, which means it will hold its shape and support all that you put into it. A bag that will not support and distribute the weight of the items you put in it, isn't any good. While this bag has four pockets, that is all you need. The outer front pocket has a good, strong zipper and opens the full length of the bag. The pocket spans the height of the bag. One side has a slip pocket on it for your keys, but not really for a water bottle, maybe if it is slim. The main compartment is huge and will hold my 10.9 inch iPad and my 15.6" laptop turned vertically and barely misses holding it horizontally. I can fit spiral, letter size notebooks or similar books, but not a letter sized binder. The interior pocket runs the full length of the bag and the full height from the zipper down. Most interior pockets are small things. This one isn't. The interior is not lined, so it is just the canvas. The canvas is not super finely woven, so it has texture to it. It will soften if you wash out the sizing or starch it has from the factory. All fabric that isn't pre-washed will have the sizing in it. I just soaked mine in a dishpan with a spoonful of white vinegar. I didn't have any color bleeding, but I didn't want to throw it in the washer with clothes or towels and have it bleed on everything. The vinegar will help soak the sizing out and help soft it. I then washed it in an empty washer with regular laundry soap on the handwash cycle. I use a tablespoon of vinegar as fabric softener in it, as I do all of my washes. Nothing will smell of vinegar, but will be clean of any soap residue without extra residue and scent covering the fibers of the fabric. I tossed it into the drier with a few old towels and drier balls. This all helped soften up the canvas some. The strap of the bag is already soft, woven twill material. It adjusts easily and fits my size 22 lady's frame and my 51" bust. The strap is narrow enough not to be uncomfortable between the ladies or dig in on the shoulder. It hits my hip at the right point for my 5'9" frame. This bag is just a great, canvas messenger without the weight that many add in their many pockets, leather, and metal hardware. This one doesn't.

I've got a lot of more dressy / formal black purses but I've been craving that kind of dumpy, slouchy, yet cute indie quality bag where I can just recklessly throw all my things in without worrying about tidy little pockets and stuff. This bag is perfect! I got army green, and the color and quality of the canvas is great!! It's the perfect size for throwing in a journal, pens, wallet, phone, gum, and any other purse chotchkies without worrying about things falling out or running out of room. I really love this purse - it's giving me 2010 casual chic indie girl realness, haha! Yay!

This is a great canvas tote. It’s larger than I expected. It feels sturdy and well made. The fabric is a thicker canvas. The straps are durable and thick too. I think this will last a long time.I got the army green color and it’s even more nice, a bit more green and less brown.I love the large zipper pockets, one inside and one outside. Plus the main part has a zipper too and it has a place for a narrow water bottle.The size makes it useful and can be used as a grocery bag, an overnight bag, a book bag, laptop, carry on, diaper bag, XL purse….

I absolutely LOVE this bag! It's perfect for carrying a variety of things while looking stylish.This canvas bag is large and very well made. The canvas is heavy and the bag's strap adjusts smoothly and easily. The entire bag, including the zippers, is well stitched and all the zippers open and close smoothly. Though the bag is not lined, the interior seams are covered with a nylon type fabric that gives the interior a finished look and there are no loose threads or scratchy surfaces inside. The Alpine green is a vibrant and gorgeous forest green is a modern take on the traditional olive green so often seen with canvas messenger bags.There is plenty of storage space in this bag too. I was able to place my Macbook inside and still had ample room for all my other things (books, snacks, cosmetic bag, etc). The front exterior pocket measures 9x13. At first glance, it appears to be just a pocket, but it has a deep hidden zipper and within this front zipper pocket, there is lots of storage space. The interior zipper pocket is also huge (big enough to fit a Kindle or an iPad). The single side pouch measures about 4X7 and is large enough to fit a standard 16 oz water bottle, but is too narrow to house my larger insulated tumbler.I definitely recommend this beautiful bag. It's functional, durable, and attractive and I KNOW the teens I teach are going to ask me where I got it.
