There’s two screw holes missing where the pickup goes. The guard is worthless. Unfortunate too because it would’ve been cool on my Tele.

My cheap Chinese tele was needing an upgraded look, this pickguard makes a big difference in the look but be aware that you might need to re drill the holes.

I bought a genuine alder Fender Telecaster body and decided to use the KAISH Metal Aluminum Anodized Tele Pickguard with Metal Control Plate for it. The body had no predrilled holes so this was perfect. As you can see they fit great. I've read up on the benefits of aluminum for shielding outside interference and I find this to be true. I also like the feel of aluminum over plastic. These are well made and I'm very happy.

This is the second purchase of the same Pick guard. The first came with a damaged sharp edge because Amazon packages the item in a bubble wrap envelope and not a box. The second which I installed is unfortunately incredibly unsafe. There is no beveled edge or polished edge. The entire pick guard has a very sharp edge going around it thus making it a cutting hazard for the fingers. It truly is a shame because I love The way it looks but unfortunately it is too dangerous to leave on the guitar and I really don’t want to cut up my fingers. I will be returning this purchase as well.
