These are natural shell inlay dots. They should go in nicely with the fretboard drilled with a 1/4" forsner bit. One was cracked, but I only need 12 for a 24 fret guitar, so 20 pieces is fine. I saw some bad reviews, and I guess if they are poorly handled you can get a lot of chipped ones. But the price is right, and you can always return bad ones. My experience was fine.

These worked great. They were relatively easy to install and file flush with the fingerboard. They are the round dots in the picture attached. Look great finished!

Mine weren’t 6mm (which would be .236”). Mine were .245”, about 6.25mm, or close to 1/4”. I ended up using a 1/4” drill bit to drill countersink holes and they fit well in the hole. If I’d have drilled a 6mm hole they wouldn’t have fit. Otherwise they were very pretty and nicely round, and the dimension wasn’t critical except for fit- so measure yours and select the right drill bit if it matters in your application

Es gibt nur 4 Punkte, da zwei Dots auf einer Seite schräg abgeschliffen wurden. Ich konnte diese nicht einsetzten, da das Loch in meiner Stratocaster genau 1.8mm war und wegen der abgeschliffenen seite was der dott nicht mehr 2mm dich, sondern eher 1.5mm
