Placed this rugged bike hanger on my wifes bike to hang on our cars bike rack for easy transport. It did they job it was made to do so I'm happy.

This product, after tightened slightly, (The clips kept popping open and tightening with a 10 mm wrench fixed this) works great to make the bar needed to transport walk-through bikes.However, PLEASE BE ADVISED, that nowhere in the ad is a statement about weight limits or e-bikes.This product is not technically supposed to be used with e-bikes. It is not stated as such. Upon a much late inspection after we'd been using the product several months, my daughter found a teeny tiny little label on the bar itself that says "Not designed for e-bikes or bikes over 35 lbs." We were able to get around the weight limitation by dismounting the bike battery each time which brought it down to an acceptable weight. Her bike is a snug fit in the bike rack though even with the bar.I WOULD recommend this for regular walk-through bikes. Its design is good and it is very easy to use. It works well, but for e-bikes, I would say look for a different bar that is rated and approved for e-bikes.

The adjustable bik bar is an easy install and release. It fite to front post and seat post so ath bike rac hooke can secure it solid and tight when bike is in transport. It is a universal fit for all bikes. Best use is when securing a step through or low step Bicycle.

We used 2 of these bars in a slightly different way than intended. We have two e-bikes which we like to transport in the back of our pickup truck, standing up, with both handle bars in the same direction. We installed these bars in a cross - X mode from one bike to another.. one seat post to the opposing bike's handlebar post and vice versa. Then we used one tiedown per bike to secure to the bed of the truck. The tension on each side kept each bar tight and snug, no way it could come loose, and made for an incredibly solid mode of transport.The bars themselves are constructed of very solid metal, with a thick non-scratch coating on the hooks that contact the bike. Very well made, and the perfect solution for an otherwise complicated problem.

Love everything about this, but you slip it on and it just rattles back and forth because there are hoops on both ends, but you can't squish it on tight and lock it. You put the hoop around the handle bar neck, and the other hoop around the seat post then lock it down with the bike rack, but of there is nothing for it to lock it in to place (lengthwise) it moves around. It would be a perfect 5 if you could spin it and lock it into place at the perfect size.Other than that it is solid and quality. No worries about it holding down the bike. Better than I expected, just a little weird that it can't be locked to the correct length.

I am just short enough at 5'5" to have a little bit of a struggle getting my bike up onto the rack over the hatch of my Prius. I was managing, but it was a pain... especially at the END of a ride! ;pThis little beauty made life so much easier - but it did take me a couple of tries to figure out the best direction for the bar! (tip - put it on so that the little handles would open down, not up, if that makes sense)I keep this in a basket with other gear in the back of my car. It takes 2 seconds to clip on, and makes popping the bike up on the rack a breeze! I added a velcro tire strap to my car kit, which I use to add a little extra stability (my bike was a little "swingy" hanging from the bar) and that seems to work just great.I've only used it twice so far before the cold and rain returned, but I love it so far! Can't wait to hit the trails this spring!
