After looking around and even visiting Kitchenaid's official website, I decided to just take the plunge and buy an "off brand" replacement. So glad I did, it's perfect in every way! Nice and heavy, fits my 4.5 quart perfectly, easy on and off the mixer, and toss into the dishwasher to clean. Couldn't be easier.

I have used the Kitchen Aid Mixer 20+ years until it wasn’t working. I purchased a new Kitchen Aid but it did not have the flat beater. This is the beater I always use, because it works the best for me.
