Noted as 3 liters, but if you add up the maximum total volumes of the lower and top pot it is only 2,5 liters. The top pot takes a maximum of 1 liter. That is dishonest advertising.

I love this pot... will be my part of my herbal medicine kitPro's -It's such a nice smaller - medium sizethe top section and lid fits beautifully into the pan, no leaksthe material will last a long time if i take care of it.cleans easyeasy to warm through either chocolate or herbal cream making etc..looks really nice quality.cons-a little pricey..no other conswould definitely recommend this pan

Looks very cute and small as I wanted, however, was misled by the spec mentioning 1.5 Qt. Turns out the outer pot is 1.5 qt. and the inset pot is 1 qt. I used it to boil the milk for yogurt, making 1 cup (6oz) of yogurt less than usual. Not a biggie for us, just beware if you intend to use it for more than 4 cups.

I sent this back before use since I had researched exhaustively and understood this double boiler was made in Germany, but it was not. As it turns out, the company 'began' in Germany, but this item was manufactured elsewhere. It looked well-made though, but I figured if I ended up with something made somewhere (unexpected), I was not going to pay this much for it. Why are these details not listed prominently, it breeds mistrust when you have to spend hours of online research to answer simple questions (like where an item is manufactured), that should be apparent in the item's listing.

Habe mir das Set gekauft um die Beikost meines Babys zu wärmen. Der kleine Topf ist hier genau das Richtige. Preis ist echt in Ordnung. Stabilität und Verarbeitung des Topfes sind sehr gut. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

I never realized it was so easy to make Chocolate. With this tool it takes about 30 -45 minutes to make a few cups of Chocolate. YUM

L'inox aurait pu être un peu plus épais pour renforcer l'aspect qualitatif du produit, qui est déjà satisfaisant. Pas de soucis pour beurre blanc et sauce chocolat... Autres recettes à venir !
