Heats up quickly. Provides ample steam (and resultant water on surfaces). Easy to use. It is heavy. Wondering how long the filter will last with my soft water, until it needs to be replaced…that would be the drawback, aside from the water it produces on surfaces. Could be my technique?

We live in an old dusty house and have to wash floors frequently to stay ahead of dust from pets, wood stove and tracked in crud. What that means is a fair amount of mopping with water and infrequent cleaning b/o being such a pain. We have used this steam mop several times and it has done a better job with far less work than our previous old school system. The controls are easy to use, it is powerful and does a terrific job. As the main floor mopper, I am sold.
