I've wanted to pick up one of these little foggers for quite a while, but have always been put off by the price. so when this came along at 1/4 to 1/7 of the price of a couple of the higher end options, I figured it was worth a gamble. I was only vaguely familiar with Ulanzi and their camera equipment, but it feels like they really did their homework on this device.First off, I really appreciate how they mark the battery compartment both at the top and inside at the bottom with the correct polarity orientation for the batteries. This makes it nice and easy to read. Once the batteries are in, I charged it up all the way before testing, but forgot to note how long that took. I suppose it may vary depending on the charge state of the batteries each person gets in the package. It's nice they went with the standard 18650 battery size, so it's easy to find spares so you can cycle through the batteries if you have a long day of fogging.Operation of the device is dead simple, with an easy to read screen, though I did have to consult the manual to decipher some of the smaller icons (top two: "C" battery indicator for the remote control and remote control connection status; bottom two: L and R battery charge levels). The upper center bubble-like icon is smoke output intensity, while the lower center fan is fan speed. Finally, there is a "Professional mode" (indicated by the icon with three bars) that enables some timer functions. The manual does a good job of explaining how all the functions work. The remote detaches easily and I didn't have any problems triggering the fogger when it was hidden out of sight.The build quality of the device is pretty solid. It has a nice heft to the unit and everything feels well put together. It comes in a handy, hard-sided carrying case which holds the fog machine, an atomizer chamber, bottle of fog liquid, the batteries, and the included accessories. Those accessories include a straight and some angled tube, USB-C charging cable (no charger included), a jointed/flexible hose, and a sponge filter, which makes for a low-lying, dry ice like fog.I'm very pleased with this little thing. It delivers exactly what I was looking for and at a fantastically low price. It punches far above the price point and I'm surprised it doesn't cost even more. Additional/replacement parts are available at low cost as well, so longer term maintenance can be performed. Awesome product!

First I had the lensGO smoke machine and from the bottom of my heart, its absolutely Horrible! It leaks all over and when you put the tank on its crooked! I actually searched for another one and found the Ulanzi which is a proven brand with amazing lights that i also own so i knew this was a quality product but when I actually got it, i was blown away just how perfect everything is. Everyting is tight fitting and straight... simply perfection and to create something like this at such an affordable price is beyond me. Its better than the ninja smoke machine! Its truly an amazing product and you WONT GO WRONG BUYING IT! JUST BUY IT!!! 👌

Didn’t have any issue getting this to work. Simple startup instructions were super easy to follow. Battery life is kind of short but the remote and performance is great. It smoked up our garage really well. It’s the ulanzi model says ulanzi on the box. Not a scam. They may have had quality control issues but thankfully mine is working great. Comes with everything you need and was able to get it to overnight with prime for a photo shoot the next day. It seems to work well in a no wind environment and can fill a large room quite easily. I didn’t want to store a larger model and the battery power handheld option is perfect for my situation.

Nothing negative, I bought 2 😂. They also sell the chambers so you can hot swap. The customization, easy to navigate the screen even given its small size, it’s all there. The case is solid too.You can make it surprisingly super dense too!

This is a awesome little portable fogger! It's great to use in my video and photo projects when I need to add a little atmosphere to the shot!

Straight out of the box it won’t work. It says that the oil tank is overheating. Contacted the manufacturer and was told to download the update onto my computer and then hook the fog machine up to my computer. First off the file is a .rar file so I had to download a program to unzip it. Then the instructions are a mix of English and Chinese symbols. No thank you! It shouldn’t be this difficult to use a brand new portable product. I would highly recommend you do not purchase this product unless you have plenty of free time and have no fear of malware.
