I do love this Jura model E8, (which I bought new) but it requires expensive Jura cleaning products to maintain it on a regular basis. And the machine was already expensive enough. I previously had an ENA 8 refurbished and sent it back because the coffee wasn't anywhere near hot enough. This E8 is a definite improvement but still would like the coffee to be hotter for the price of the machine. I love that I just push a button and out comes my beverage of choice. Also love that it prompts you to do various maintenance when required. Very intuitive machine. I've had it 3 months now and now it needs a whole system cleaning. I'm only one person and drink only one cup a day so a larger family of coffee drinkers would need the whole system clean a lot sooner. Overall pleased with my purchase.

Where to start for such an expensive coffee machine:CONS- It doesn't tell you there isn't enough water BEFORE making a coffee and stops half way so you're left refilling and having to make another coffee from start as it doesn't resume like Nespresso. It only tells you when the water tank is empty. This might be the case for ALL JURA products.- The wastewater resevoir is incredibly small, so even if you make 1 coffee a day, you need to take it out and throw water from cleaning away every 4 days- The water capacity is limited and for an expensive machine it is a cheap plastic, is it BPA-free? who knows- The random blockage of milk pipes requires full opening, cleaning everytime, so much for self cleaning and it comes with a cheap dongle pipe for pulling water in and no storage for milk. It sputters when there is a clog with no clear way of identifying what the issue is even when things may look spotless to you, and no tools are provided to clean any milk clogs or videos on how to open it/fix it with no support- Does not come with wifi either, which is like a $100+ addon for a little chip- The height and coffee amounts are off, not everyone uses a WIDE cup, so you need to tilt the cup to take your coffee out. Why not allow for the nozzle to be pushed up a bit more? What if you have a carafe?- No water capture for when making milk drink on the side when cleaning starts..so water splashes out from the right nozzle/coffee maker .. how is this even possible to approve as a designer?PROS- After you overlook all the issues which can make this machine worth the price, it makes decent coffee, but all the design flaws really take away from how one should feel when paying this much for a machineI'd say opt for a even more expensive one if it fixes these issues or just stick to any other automatic coffee maker.

I read the manual and I don't see anything specific about how to work through the cockpit setting, even on p. 22 is the only place I found that has information on a few of the features of the machine. I have been through all the settings but didn't see anything specific that said how and where to increase the coffee strength of the temperature of the coffee. Could you please tell me specifically how to do these two things?The instructions for my old Jura F7 were much more specific and clear. The manual for the Jura 8 is not nearly as good. And, customer support is not nearly as good as it used to be. I used to be able to quickly get a person when I phoned, and they provided clear and specific answers to any issue. Now, I can never get anyone to answer the phone. Such a shame because I used to tell people what great customer support Jura provided. I don't say that anymore.

This is my first super automatic coffee machine which has exceeded my expectations. I’m in my mid 70’s and have consumed many thousands cups of coffee and coffee drinks over the years. I have brewed cups at home for 50+ years primarily using my technivoum mocamaster machines and various pour over techniques, Moka pots and French press. I decided to try a bean to cup machine to simplify my life and counter space.Wow, the JURA E8 has exceeded all my expectations. The options for drinks are great, have tried all the drinks for fun and they are all as advertised and taste great!!! The machine is very straightforward and easy to use. There are some concerns with reviews online regarding the cleaning, I really appreciated the cleaning routines, especially for the milk drinks. As a physician cleanliness of the milk circuit is very important to me to prevent any contamination of the milk in the machine and mechanism to minimize risk of illness from contaminated milk. The price of the Jura cleaning supplies is well worth the cost to keep the machine insides clean, keeping the cups tasting fresh and minimizing any medical concerns.I have used the machine daily for the past month drinking 2-5 cups daily. My grandchildren love the frothed milk with some sprinkles or flavoring and ask every time they come over now. Friends visiting really enjoying the different drink choices as well. I really love the options, consistency of drinks, and convenience. I am now a Jura homeboy.The vendor “Lighting and Locks” is an authorized Jura dealer offering excellent prices and qualifies for the Jura factory warranty. The shipping was extremely prompt, and arrived right on time! I would purchase from them again!

Delivery was excellent and package was triple wrapped, so everything arrived perfect. The Jura is really an excellent machine as it produces barista level cappuccinos and other espresso drinks. It is easy to use and the directions are easy to follow. GREAT purchase also really beautiful machine. The company did an excellent job with shipping and protecting the machine.

We made a mistake and bought from a non-authorized Jura dealer. Not even a year and it's in for repair to the tune of $380, and no warranty.Decent product (thus 2 stars), shady reseller. Spoke to Jura, they think it was used to begin with.I'll take the blame for bargain hunting. Won't do that again.Avoid this seller.

Pros it is nice and shiny. The drinks were pale and transparent, even the espresso. Clearly an item defect. Also, if you like large glass of coffee, like the eight hours plus the foam, every time you go to remove the glass you’re going to spill some of the coffee because the spigot is too low for glasses that can hold that much liquid. I cannot believe nobody has criticize this. You can see it in the photograph someone posted above and then there’s all the cleaning costs

If you like milk drinks then this is for you. We only use illy coffee beans in it. Please remember this machine takes a lot of water! It cleans and rinses, so get ready to fill it every day. The coffee is 10000 times better than Starbucks. We had a Nespresso for 10+ years. The coffee wasn’t hot enough. This machine has very hot coffee. The coffee grinds come out like hockey pucks. Which makes it nice to add to your garden or house plants. It was worth every penny!!!!!! She’s fancy
