Benefits of Rebounding on a Fitness Trampoline

Total Body Exercise JumpSport

Total Body Exercise

The JumpSport Fitness trampoline leaves no room for you to say 'I don’t have time to work out.' Studies have shown just working out 20 minutes on a mini-trampoline is like running for 30 minutes.

It’s like a springing fountain of youth! One of the other benefits of rebounding is that it slows down atrophy in the aging process.

Weight Loss JumpSport

Weight Loss

The act of rebounding works every muscle of the body; it is a true total body workout which improves your muscle-to-fat ratio. It can reduce cellulite (yes, read that again), and burn calories fast.

Jumping boosts metabolism and improves resting metabolic rate so you can burn calories long after a workout.

Handle on JumpSport Fitness Trampoline

Cardio

Often times we read the word cardio and we think of a type of high-energy workout like Zumba where there is a lot of dancing or moving. But we are talking about the Heart; your life line.

Rebounding can hold off incidents of heart disease by increasing lipids that work with proteins to move the fat out at a cellular level.

Balance JumpSport

Balance & Mental Health

Speaking of stress, rebounding will help relax you! The same exercise that can release endorphins and give you energy can also help you sleep better at night.

It can help your whole family stay focused; some studies have shown children with short attention spans can center and re-group by jumping on a trampoline.

Best, most enjoyable piece of workout equipment I’ve EVER purchased!! It’s sturdy and well made!! 40 minutes of working out went by like it was NOTHING (except my heart rate monitor proved it really was hard work!). I also love that it can fold away if I need the space. I’ve had no trouble with the legs coming loose, but I also did use the tool that came with it to tighten them up as much as I could (twisting the plastic with my hands alone wasn’t sufficient). 10 out of 10 — would highly recommend!!

I only received this 4 days ago, but I am really impressed. I upgraded from a cheaper brand and there is a drastic difference in the quality. Very sturdy and well made.

This is not my first rebounder. I have seen and used many, even the Bellicon. None of them are made as well as this JumpSport. This rebounder is made like a tank. The size of the tubing used is thicker than any other AND they don't just paint it like most other companies do - the powder coat the finish on so it last a lifetime. The thickness of the frame is also much beefier than other rebounders. If you plan to kepp your rebounder for many years than this is the rebounder you need. The bungee cords are fully adjustable to get the perfect amount of bounce you prefer, and it is very quiet to use. Looks like Bellicon is no longer the king of the hill. I just wish they made a T-Bar for it. Other than that I highly recommend this rebounder.

I am so glad I purchased this brand! It was very easy to put together. I’ve been using an inexpensive one for awhile and wondered if there really was much difference with the more expensive ones. It’s night and day! This one is much larger and the bounce is amazing! I was beginning to feel some irritation on my lower back with the inexpensive one and this one is so much smoother and a much softer bounce. I look forward to using it everyday!! Totally worth the money.

This rebounder (though expensive) is awesome! It is so sturdy and you don't feel uneasy under it at all. Spreetail offered EXCELLENT customer service and was so helpful when I reached out. The bounce is perfect and I know it will last a long time. I bought a much cheaper version and was not happy at all. This 550 Pro is a great investment into your health. I feel stronger already!

I haven't been on a trampoline of any kind since I was in my teens. I've had countless memberships at various gyms, none of which I went to more than a few times. After realizing that I actually abhor "gyms" - the shared equipment, social aspect, and the locker rooms - I've cycled through many types of home fitness equipment and contraptions. Most of them have taken up a lot of space, and ended up at the good will (or more recently on Craigslist.) So now I'm trying to make smarter purchases. I've watched a few fitness trampoline workouts, and decided that this would be my next purchase. I did a lot of online research/shopping before selecting the 570 Pro (with handlebar.) It is much more expensive than others, but for good reason. It does take up a good amount of space in a room, and with the handlebar (which isn't removable because it mounts on in place of two of the legs,) you can't save much room by setting it on it's side to move it out of the way. So keep this in mind when making your purchase. It's easy to unpack, thankfully without excessive packing material. All components are VERY solid, and there aren't a bunch of washers and nuts and bolts and fiddly junk to figure out (the bolts are actualy inside the legs and are not removable,) so it's super easy to assemble. It took me like 15 minutes to unbox and assemble, and I didn't even need the instructions. The other fitness trampolines I looked at have straight legs, which obviously aren't as stable anyway, but reading the reviews and looking at the customer photos, many of them bend and/or snap off! This was ALL I needed to know about the others - NO WAY would I trust the safety of my body to those cheaply designed contraptions! Also, the bungees or springs are mostly exposed on all the others (or they have the guards which aren't attached to the bounce surface so you can slide under them,) all of which looks terribly unsafe to me! Bellicon is actually more expensive than Jumpsport, and while they do look to be superior to the "cheap" brands (and they do have *some* bungee protection,) they also have the straight legs and a smaller bounce surface. Jumpsport is the only one I saw with bigger bungee guards, and the 570 has the extra "petals," which is even more protection, and which is why I chose it (as opposed to the foldable 550, which is almost as good because it at least has an ample bungee guard, just not the petals.)In addition to those issues, most of the other trampoline's bounce surfaces are so small that they're only good for bouncing or jogging in one small spot, and I really don't see how anyone can get a good, variable workout with such a limitation. Even the Bellicon, for more $$, has a smaller bounce surface and much smaller bungee guards.I'm 5'6, and due to the larger surface on the 570, I can do a pretty decent variety of moves on it, including some modest jumping jacks. Also, following along with the video, it's large enough to use for stomach toning exercises (lying on my back as instructed,) which eases pressure on the lower back because unlike a hard floor or even a flat mat, the trampoline surface gives some. So it's pretty versatile in that respect as well.Because I'm within average height range, I can extend my arms overhead and still not touch an 8' ceiling (although if I tried I'm sure I could,) but "height" doesn't seem to be the objective for this type of workout. If you watch some youtube fitness trampoline workouts, you'll see that they're not intended to be used like a backyard trampoline. So, average height people in a room with standard ceiling height should be fine.I only got this a couple of days ago and have only had a chance to use it twice - it's definitely a GOOD workout! I have pretty high expectations for this trampoline and am really happy that I didn't buy a less expensive one, because it's obvious that you get what you pay for.My ONE complaint, and why I give it 4 stars and not 5 is this: Like another customer spoke of in their review, the weight limit that's posted on the leg(s) is stated as 250 lbs. This is one of those permanent type of stickers from the manufacturer that is supposed to be left on, and not have a sticker stuck over it with contradictory information (which seems to be how Jumpsport tried to resolve his complaint.) I'm pretty sure the website states that it's really 325. This doesn't matter to me, as I don't weigh that much. But if I ever wanted to sell it, it is likely to matter. My husband is 6'7"/270 lbs, so while we both know it's safe for him, someone else in his size range would look at this and probably question it! Jumpsport really should pay closer attention to this and resolve this labeling issue, particularly since people might be purchasing their equipment for their weight ratings. I'm going to be contacting them to request different legs with proper lableing, not "replacement stickers."

Love it- GREAT cardio workout and much easier on my knees than other cardio workouts which I also love. I set the timer for a 5 minute workout while watching tv and it IS a workout. Now, in my home gym, I do the 45 min or hour long Bob Harper DVDs (no problem). So, this is said by a non-wimp exerciser. It is different and adds to your usual exercise routine. If you have NO knee or hip problems, it is probably a great apartment or home exerciser for even longer exercise periods. As my husband was putting this together for me, he (an even more discerning consumer) kept saying "this is a quality product" It is a quality product-- VERY sturdy. I weigh 150 Lbs (I am also 5' 10" tall) and I do one legged kicks, etc. It has been rock solid for me. A friend reminded me how much I enjoyed this activity 30 years ago so I got this model. You may not need the 41 inch model- it does take up some room. With the handle bar which I HIGHLY recommend for anyone with joint or balance issues as safety feature, you are unlikely to be folding it up. Given that we are okay with this in our foyer (so I can watch tv and do my own routies), I give it a 5 star rating. Pricey but worth EVERY penny, I think IF you have balance problems, it will HELP them (unless severe, check with your doc) but please please get that handle bar. I have nothing to do with this company by the way; just love these products.
