Amazing sewing machine, was able to sew through layers of materials with no problem. Seller was good to work with, it was shipped fast and arrived with no damage or issues.Be prepared to spend a few hours watching YouTube videos on how to set it up as it doesn't come with a written manual. Expect some learning curve with this machine but once you have it down, it's amazing to sew with.

Unfortunately i have had nothing but trouble with this machine since i got it from finding bobbins to not sewing right. It never has sewn right i have tried to fix those problems and work with this machine constantly. Barely having any hours on it due to problems. Puckering fabric not winding bobbins correctly i have come to hate this machine

I'm breaking this review into sections:Delivery: This Juki DU-1181N came fully assembled and strapped to a small wooden pallet. As a heads up if you purchase this with prime, your friendly delivery man will not assist you in lifting or moving into your house. It came on a 14ft tall truck & couldn't make it into my back alley. But he came prepared with a hand pallet jack to roll this into my garage where I could un-package before moving into my house. You need a screwdriver and something to cut the metal straps off of the pallet. I would highly suggest making sure your order works before moving as if you need to return, the delivery service will NOT come into your house to move it.Instructions: Since I upgraded from a standard home sewing machine, It took me 4 hours research on youtube and reading the directions to make sure I did everything right. Juki should make a DVD because this book is half in Chinese half in english and I already found mislabeled items and missing steps. This is a serious nightmare, drink a glass of wine.Love / Hate: Love the lubrication system, seriously the best - bummed there isn't an automatic thread cutter.
