Purchased for my flower garden to mark late blooming plants. Perfect height to flutter in the garden. Better quality and color than I expected. Will be buying more.

I ordered these for my mom’s birthday. She really loves them. They are beautiful, and she loves that the wings flutter in the breeze. The craftsmanship is excellent, and she, who is 91, put them together easily. We really love that the wings are made of glass instead ofplastic.

These are super cute. My wife loved them for Mother's day. The moving wings on a spring are quite clever. However, putting them together was a nightmare. The rods did not fit well into 2 of the 3 butterflies and not at all in the 3rd. I think it's mostly because when the paint is applied it takes up sufficient space to fill the threads and there is no consideration for this when they were designed.Worse, one of the upper rods was stripped so connecting it with the lower rod was impossibleLuckily I have a tap and die set so I was able to chase the threads on the rods to make them fit easier. If you can get the top of the rod thread to fit into the butterfly even a little you can do the same thing by turning clockwise as much as you can then turning it back half a turn and repeating this many times. It really helps to have a vise to hold the rod. If you don't that strategy is useless. I suppose you can try cleaning the paint out of the threads in the top rod with something sharp...For the stripped female part of the upper rod I had to cut away the stripped portion, drill the rod and then form new threads with a tap (M4 x 0.7). Most people won't be able to do this, so you may have to try filling the female part of the rod with a little epoxy or some other glue and hope for the best.Shame about the fitment because they are fun gifts.

I bought these so that I could add them to my campground for decoration. I love that they are sturdy and made of glass and metal. They are a beautiful addition to my campground.
