It's always been such a pain while crocheting when I have to keep fiddling the with yarn. This product has made me love crocheting even more. It I do simple to use and is actually kind of a nice decoration when you aren’t using it. It is a great product. And even better price. It fits perfectly in my bag and isn’t on big or heavy. I highly recommend this product. It makes things simpler.

I sent this to my grandson who is in College in Chicago. He called me specially to tell me how much he liked it. He said it is easy to use. It has a spinner with magnetic metal twirling mechanism making the yarn comes off freely as you need it. The holder is also sturdy so it stays put while you work. Great price I will tell you. Definitely worth it for any crochet people out there!

This seems like a great product. I just started knitting, so I can tell you it beats the rolling pin and wine bottle I was using as a holder before ;-) Now that I have more projects, I can already tell the ease of the yarn coming off of the holder is going to help. The magnet is strong, and I am surprised that it keeps the yarn in place. The holder looks nice, and it is sturdy. The screws were a little hard to screw in with the screwdriver that was included, but I was able to use one I had to put this together easily. Where you insert the screw on the base there is a hole that is "counter sunk" vs. the hole on the yarn holder that rotates, it is only flush. The anti-slip pads on the base help keep it in place. I may need to buy another one so I can have two projects going at once!

It's not even a question of whether this improves my crochet sessions. This is a great tool and the best part about it is that once I set my yarn on it, I simply don't think about it.The yarn just comes free as needed. The wood finish makes it easily blend in with home decor which I also appreciate. I definitely miss it when I'm crocheting in less practical locations like public transportation where I have to manually unwind enough yarn periodically.Putting it together was simple though seemed like maybe the holes for the screws were maybe a bit small on mine so don't be overzealous in installing the screws or the wood might split. But once it's together it's very sturdy, it hasn't threatened to come apart even once.The magnet is quite strong (if it's not in your case I did see a hack for adding small circular magnets to make sure it doesn't budge) and has been able to support a 1.10lbs cone of yarn I purchased with no issue.
