I ordered these so that we could watch Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3D (we had the actual 3D version). These glasses did work and it was pretty cool to see the movie like that for the first time. These are about the thickness of poster board, so they're not flimsy. Not the most comfortable, but they're exactly what you'd get in the theater, back in the day. I will say that the shade of the blue lense is a bit darker than I would've liked, but the glasses do achieve the desired effect.

I had some 3D renderings I wanted to show my class of 15 engineering students. These were cheap enough to not worry about the students messing them up. I keep some in my office at school and at home to play around with.

The filters don't filter out appropriate levels of light to my satisfaction. When viewing videos on my computer (an iMac), quite a lot of blue is visible through the red filter, and appears as a ghosted image. These glasses might work well for printed media, but perform poorly for screen. This didn't ruin the 3D effect, but it was distracting. I compared them to my previous batch I ordered, and sure enough the other ones worked much better. If having pristine filtering matters to you, perhaps you had best look elsewhere.That said, there were things I liked. The glasses are each individually wrapped in sanitary plastic, which would be great if handing out a bunch of them at an event or giving them away. The classes are also pre-folded in the correct direction for most 3D viewing, which is great and again would prevent confusion at events and stuff. Also, the glasses were really comfortable. For these reasons I've bumped them up to 3 stars.
