I adore this mask. It is the top mask in providing comfort, a large field of vision, protection, and style. But the best thing I can say about this mask is that you just want to wear it all the time. It's just one of those things that once you have it you wonder how your life was ever complete with out it. Best of all, you can wear it all the time and you'll never have to worry about fogging again. You will have condensation dripping from this mask before it will even start to fog. I have never seen such a wonderful JT product and at such a mild price. I would really, really, really suggest this mask.

I used this mask a few days after I purchased it in an 10 hour airsoft event, and it did not fog. The most I got was some perspiration on the lens after several hours of play, which all I did was wipe off with a rag and I was good for the rest of the day. The holes in the mask are significantly smaller than a 6mm BB so no fear for a BB slipping through. The field of view is superb. It is also not that wide, so I was able to see the sights in a MP5 with full stock, but not my MP5j which has a retractable stock. I can also use the sights on my m14 with slight difficulty, if you adjust the rear sight to raise it up it can be done somewhat comfortably. I will also say this about the mask, it is well ventilated and is quite comfy in my opinion. For airsofting I have used safety glasses (don't recommend ever doing), ESS Striker goggles, JT Delta 2, various other goggles, etc. And I will say none of them worked this good. The safety glasses were not safe, the ESS goggles still allowed a BB to enter either through the foam or the side. Theres a rubber flap there, as it was not designed for airsoft, despite a lot of us prefer to use them for this. JT Delta 2, provided lack of face protection on the sides, and bad field of view 180 vs 260 which these have.Pro'sNO FOGExcellent field of viewComfyWell ventilatedLower profile mask, allowing use of sights more often than other masks. Or at the very least allowing us to not have to raise our optics quite as high to use.ConsBottom face/top helmet portion are not removable. So your limited to with or without visor for customization. Unlike my JT Delta 2, and other masks which your able to remove portions of the mask to be left with just the goggles if you wanted to.*EDITED IN*Had this for awhile now and used it on a lot of outdoor events. Will say that the anti fogging capabilities of the thermal lens is superb. At most I have got a few small patches of fog here and there in extreme conditions. But those clear up in a few seconds if I control my breathing, since it only happens only when I am breathing heavily when I stop. Which might happen to me a couple times in the course of playing all day. Though the other option to clear up the fog is to just move around a little bit as that will provide more than adequate airflow to clear it up as well. I have gotten a fan for this mask free from a friend, which remains largely unused. It's only real use is to turn it on once in awhile while were setting up for the next match to remind my friends I don't fog, EVER.Full face/head protection is also a great thing about this, it just gets a bit difficult to know if you get shot on the top of your head you can't feel it. It is also quite slim in comparison to other full face masks and somewhat flexible. The top sunshade is great in my opinion, I have played on some very bright sunny days and never once had the sun in my eyes, or felt the need for a tinted lens. The pictures may decieve you as it looks too small to be of use but it isn't, as your eyes are a bit farther back because of the goggles.Update: March 20154 years have gone by and the mask still lives and has seen untold number of airsoft games and events. And has been there for most of my airsoft career which has eventually died down to nothing. It is by far one the best purchase concerning airsoft equipment I have made. I still stand by all the praise I gave it before, it deserved it and more. But let me add in another thing about this concerning airsoft, it is annoying difficult to tell the difference between being shot in the head and a BB ricochet off a wall, they are both pings but only slight difference between the two. It's actually not that big of a deal really considering how much most fields discourage head shots anyway from my experience. I have never actually had that be an issue at a game so I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Worst I had was a ref spot check me by shooting me when I wasn't looking to make sure I was calling my hits, then he walked over and said I wasn't out as he was just checking as he saw a ricochet off the back of my head earlier and I didn't call it. Told him I couldn't feel a hit there and pulled down the hood of my sweater and revealed my helmet and that was it.

First off, this is an amazing helmet. I wouldnt get it if you arn't serious about airsofting due to the price. I never need to remove the lens because i dont paintball, but tried once. I couldn't figure out how to get it off. I recomend a different helmet for paintball. As for airsofting, it dosint get better than this. I've had it for almost a year now (10 months) and have played in snow, heat, and tons in fall and spring. It NEVER FOGGED UP ON ME. I have always been able to see through the lens. The inside lens has a cusion, and that area inside your visor can get a little warm. Everywhere else, though, is cool. There are holes everywhere, and none of them are big enough to let a bb through. Also, it DOES have protection for the back of your head, and even automaticly makes the perfect size, due to the strap. You just have to release it from the end points holding it out, and you got a great fit. The thing above the lens on the outside blocks off the sun, perfect for aiming on sunny days. It is also removeable, if you don't like it. The entire helmet appears to be made of some amazing flexable plastic, that dosent scratch. Now, I get to the protection. I got hit with a 450 feet per second (fps) airsoft sniper rifle from 10 feet away in the side, and i didn't feel a thing. It didn't scratch, and seemed to make a loud click when it hit me, so you can know if it hits you or not. I hit the lens with a 370 fps airsoft AK47 and it didn't break. This helmet is SOLID. The helmet goes down past your chin in the front, and about 3/4 of the way up your neck in the back. Also, your feild of vision is this: You can see completly to your left and right, as if your not wearing the helmet. It basicly looks like your wearing a hat, but you cant see the entire ground, but I could see my feet when walking. Also, the black colored helmet looks AWSOME!!!! It says: You might as well surrender now. You're going to get powned. This review contained EVERYTHING I wanded to know about the helmet, and I hope it helped. GO AIRSOFT!!!!

Bought this item directly from Amazon and as always I'm pleased with their services - this product was delivered properly. As for the helmet/mask and goggles, they're exactly what I expected:1. Lightweight2. Well-ventilated3. Goggles are clear don't fog-up (even with the attached Vortex II fan turned off)4. All parts fit perfectly like the lens, rear protector and the Vortex II fan (purchased separately)I'm currently using this in the Philippines where it can get hot and humid at times. So far I'm very happy with it.However, just like any good product there are some things that could have been improved:1. Some parts are permanently riveted together. Would have loved to have removable rivets/screws to clean and repaint this helmet.2. Lens are firmly fastened to the goggles and taking these out take a lot of time and effort. Some care is also required as you don't want to bend these lenses too much.Lastly, though this is not a complaint - but more of a note/reminder: this helmet is made for Paintball and not Airsoft and will not allow you to comfortably aim Airsoft Rifles because of the cheek coverage. What I've done to compensate is use high-mount optics. No problems however for pistols and shorter airsoft weapons.
