They fit on the framework as they should. They clip and hold the transport legs in place when the top is in use.

These do not fit 1 1/4 inch bimini top frame, They measure 1 5/32 inch, almost an 1/8 inch to small. Forcing them to fit would only stress the plastic and cause to fail .
