These solar step lights are awesome! Not only do they help with the safety element they are intended to support, they also provide curb appeal when placed correctly. I only needed one for each deck step in front of my house and they look great. First time I drove up to my house when dark after placing them, I feel in love with them and you will too!

We built a roof over our hot tub. There is a small step from the walkway to the hot tub platform. At night it is very dark in our back yard and to avoid attracting bugs we leave the lights off. I saw these on another site and thought they might work. I was very unsure about these as I am with most solar land scaping lights. I prefer hardwired lights. These came in on a very sunny day and I put them out to charge. That night I set them out and they are perfect! These give the perfect amount of light in the proper places but not too much so they are shining in the windows or attracting bugs. They soft white light is very nice. They hold a charge, as far as I can tell all night. They are small and sleek, not a trip hazard at all. I did not attach them so I can move them inside in the winter. Give them a try, I am not disappointed.

When they work, they are a nice addition to lighting a step up on the patio. Out of a set of 10, 3 already are not working properly. They stay on during the day. But the seller is very responsive and has made everything right. Definitely would recommend based on their customer support.

The illumination is fantastic. These lights provide just the right amount of brightness to highlight my steps without being overwhelming. I like these stair solar lights so much that I've bought two packs of them! I have them on the stairs to the house, but I also have them on the deck handrails pointing up at hanging baskets. I put them in clumps of flower pots to illuminate foliage at night and I have them on some windowsills in the house to serve as nightlights. They are a warm/golden light which is what I was looking for. I am surprised how many of them are still shining when I get up at 5:00 in the morning and it's dark. I find the adhesive tabs useful so the dog doesn't knock them off. Take note that sometimes you have to click the button a few times for them to turn on. It's also fair to note that at least one in each box will be a dud, and just won't work. To me this wasn't a big deal because there are so many of them and I found them to be very affordable. I will not likely keep them out during winter because of snow/shoveling... we'll see!

My front porch steps are wide and porch lighting is insufficient for night time safety. These lights charge very readily during daytime hours and provide perfect illumination for my steps at night. I've even given them as a gift since they work so well.
