I recently installed a completely new wiring harness from front to rear in my 79 Bronco. I had to make a few new connectors and some I had to undo and repin. This tool worked perfectly. If you realize your working on electronics and use a gentle hand you won’t have any problems.

The pin extractor set is very affordable than other brands if the extractor exists. I was able to repin different types of connectors with ease. I used to file down paperclips and damage the locking tabs in connectors. This product prevents that problem. The extractors are durable and fit perfectly for the type of connector it’s meant for. I would highly recommend this tool.

Not sure why it took me years to get one of these connector tools. Makes the job so much easier! Not sure why modular power supplies aren't standardized, but I re-wired one in record time today thanks to this tool!

So here's the scoop. I bought the cheap two pack yellow ones, you saw them, and tried de'pinning 8 flat pins on my MK7 GTI MIB harness and the tool broke off inside. I chucked it. I bought this one and was blown away. It even pulled the broken tool bits out as well. This was my first attempt to depin a VAG connection and was blown away by the ease. You have to lock the blade into place via Allen screw. I got an Allen wrench and installed. Once I got all the rest of the stuff out, I found they already included the tool along with an extra screw (yes, I lost one already...) but good looking out. It all fits in a sweet snap case. I will ultimately be buying another. I highly recommend.

I spent way too much time with cheap products trying to replace connectors. The fit has been perfect for the 30 or so connectors I’ve done. Tried a couple cheap sets and the spacing and durability left a lot to be desired. If you’re in the market I highly recommend this product.

This tool is well made. There is a screw on cap on the end for storing something, but none of the tool tips fit inside it so not sure why it’s there.

Well built. Works like it should. I work on my own vehicles. When you own a VW, this is a mandatory tool for attempting to resolve your electrical gremlins.

I searched around and found many key type terminal pin removers but they seem cheap looking, flimsy and unreliable. This tool is a bit more work to attach the using end to but I can easily sacrifice a little more time for a good quality and reliable tool. It was used with success the day I received it.
