This phone holder is much better quality than I expected. It reminds me of my Manfrotto photography gear. The grip is strong, and has rubber pads. The holder ball pivot has great movement without being too stiff or too loose. I use it with my Android phone with a case that has a Magfit ring in it.

It works well so far. You have to get a little clever with the mounting if your plane doesn’t have the seat back tray table but I made it work for 2 different planes. I am happy with it

Starting to use Magnet materials as it is more convenient/easy to hold materials. This one looks durable and the magnet is strong. Has all the angles for you to adjust your viewing needs. Size is compact and very functional. I highly recommend this product for its versatility and reliability. Also it comes with a free magnet adapter if you want a certain gadget to use for the magnetized holder

The product itself appears to be made well and would otherwise be perfect for airplane travel. My issue is that I have an android phone and I use a fairly thin case. Therefore this product requires the use of a metal ring (included) which can be attached to your phone. However, when used with the case in place (with the metal ring on the inside of the case), the magnet is not strong enough to hold the phone. This was both surprising and disappointing since I also have a couple of different magnetic phone holders for use in the car, and these magnets are much stronger, easily holding the phone in place with the case on. I returned this item for a refund.

It is very heavy duty and it seems to attach to many surfaces so I'm sure it will be very useful when I get the chance to put it to use.
