Just because you get a ton of brushes in this set doesn't mean they are throw-aways. You'll be able to wash and use these over and over. Though I was hoping these would be a little "chubbier" for tiny hands, they are still appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers. Flat and round brushes are included, but small kids won't care which they use. These are a great addition to your art cabinet.

It’s true the bristles do not shed. My 3yo twins were able to hold the paintbrush comfortably with the thick handles. They also found it easy to wash the brushes.

I thought they would help me with my art. I know they’re for kids but the sizes in the colors help me to determine what brush I use for specific colors. Disappointment that they shed and I have to pick bristles out of my art. Maybe they be all right for your child but I do not like them.

Thick brush ends just soak before and air dry. They do not fall apart and I have used these daily for a couple months with class of kiddos and they are easy to wash.

As you can probably imagine, having three children results in many arguments, broken toys, and tears. I love the color handles, makes identifying who's are who's so much easier! Less tears, less fighting, and less gray hair for me!!!

Definitely not top quality here, but this set is a good value for the cost. I found many loose bristles, so this is better suited for actives like rock painting than painting on canvas. Would be good for a preschool or nasty paint you can’t clean up. These would also be good for a kids bday party activity.
