for me, I would recommend 5mm. It's cute. I had false gauges like this before and it was long like the 5mm. Unfortunately, this time I wanted something different, so I got the short ones. Nah. I wasn't feeling it

Screws on kinda funny and the plastic rings come off easy but they’re really cute. My ears can’t handle some metals and these work great for me, and they haven’t rusted or broke. You get a lot of value for your money

These are really good especially if you want the grunge/emo look, and yes these are heavy (because they are made from stainless steel, and not from any other material) I recommend the 5mm because its small and not too heavy.

I bought these a couple days ago for myself and got them today. To say the least, these were much better than I originally expected. They look extremely realistic. They are a little heavy though, so if you plan on buying them, make sure you build up to wearing them for a while. I recommend maybe 2 hours a day for a week to start off, then build up. The fake piercings are also very easy to put on after the first time.

Arrived today. The earring are a good size for me my only complaint is they are a bit heavy and that’s cause they to turn upward on my lobe. One of the rubber pieces that surround the top was missing on one of the three pair. I would return them but I have miss placed the little bag they send with the item.

My ears arent stretched out *at all* and I was expecting these (perhaps a bit naively) to be the same size as standard earrings when put in, and they arent. Its a small difference, and not so big that I cant get them in at all, though I dont wear them often because they can be a bit of a pain. Great quality, though! They're metal, the rainbow ones look great, and they trick people pretty easily

Really comfy, not too heavy, and they look and feel great! Only reason I'm knocking a star off is because one of the Oil Spill colored gauges, the screw is reversed from all the rest. So instead of the front piece having the rod to insert through me piercing, it's the back piece that I have to insert from behind my ear, which is a pain in the ass to do, and then screw the tiny little front piece on. All in all, for the price not too bad but just know that there may be some inconsistencies.
