The socket extends 8" from the handle, the overall length is 12" and the back of the handle has an insertion device to aid in making connections.

This tool probably works for what it's intended for but I got it in hopes of using it on I/O block M8 connectors, Which it didn't work. :( I was really bummed out to because the real tool is over $200

Too big for BNC’s. So useless. Also too long for most installs as well.

Does not fit my BNC connectors, so this tool is essentially useless. Ultimately I think it's better to use better quality BNC connectors that are easy to insert/remove rather than fidget with a tool like this.
