About The Item:
This 12v toggle switch is a 2 pin toggle switch, on off 2 position function. When you turn on the switch, it will stay at on position until you manually switch it off.

ON/OFF Plate
There is a gap on this 2 position toggle switch, cooperate with the bulge of the plate to fix the plate on the switch, prevent it from spinning on the spst toggle switch.
Rubber Boot Cover
For becoming a marine toggle switch, this 12 volt toggle switch will come with a waterproof rubber boot cap to help the switch achieve waterproof function.
Screw Terminal
This 2 pin switch is screw terminal design, nickel plating copper terminals, which makes it have better performance in conduction and corrosion resistance.
Application

The workmanship is very fine.I bought one fish for $13 , and finally I sent five. If it's more, you can get a cheaper price. It's better to buy two fish for $7.

Have not installed in my project yet but the overall appearance and feel of the switch is very good. Switch has nice, firm, audible click when switching. Great price for the number of switches with boots and hardware.

I bought these to replace a switch in a lift chair control. It was an old control, three wires and hard wired in, not the five pin type that is now common. I was only going to use one side of the new switch. The old switch was a plastic toggle. It had gotten stuck under the chair and had gotten deformed, and would no longer mechanically operate. This switch was not a drop in replacement, but the round stem fit through the square hole and could be clamped there with the two hex nuts that are supplied with each switch.I installed the rubber "waterproof" cover/boot because the feel was better.All in all, these switches have a good feel and operate solidly. They solidly return to neutral when you stop holding them. I hope that this switch works as long as the last one did.The biggest problem was that the type of connector on the end of the wires had to be changed to a small ring. But that is not an issue with this switch. It clearly uses screw connectors. I had heat shrink crimp on terminals for the wire ends. Of course, the crimper didn't crimp and I had to muck with it to get a good mechanical connection.

These switches feel well built and have smooth action. The screw-on water proof covers are handy and in the right situation, very useful at preventing water intrusion like on a boat panel. So I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of something like them.
