It may have been intended for babies, but this is the best stuff I have found for rescuing dry skin, especially feet here in the High Desert of CA. It is reasonably priced and long lasting. Rich and non-greasy, more smell than I like, but that is easily forgiven when it sinks into my parchment paper skin. Thank you

I purchased two tubes of this cream because I like to sit out on my front porch after dinner and my house is surrounded by woods. I'm one of those people who are a 'mosquito magnet' and I'd get bitten about eight times an hour and every bite would swell up and itch for days. I read this cream completely protected you from mosquitoes so I decided to try it. Other sites like Target and Walmart sold it much cheaper but they were both out of stock. The cream feels nice on your skin and is a great moisturizer. It smells like suntan lotion and doesn't leave an oily stain on your furniture when you sit down after applying it to the back of your legs. I was skeptical at first but it did seem to do the job. I only got bitten twice in a two week period. I may have missed a spot or perhaps it was a different kind of bug that bit me. You must rub it on every spot though. I didn't put it on my ears at first and got bitten there. But overall it did seem to do the job. A bit expensive on the Amazon site, especially if you want to use it on the entire family. But like I said there are other places that sell it cheaper. If you buy it in the winter before everyone else snatches it up you could save tons of money but I wasn't willing to wait. The cream doesn't keep biting flies away however. It's MUCH nicer and cheaper than 'Deep Woods OFF' and doesn't contain any pesticides. Plus you don't have to rush in to take a shower to remove it when you go to bed like you do with 'OFF'. I'm sure it's much safer to use on babies and children. Next year I'm going to stock up so I can give a few tubes to my grandkids who inherited my 'mosquito magnet' gene but I'll get it from Target or Walmart so it's more affordable to buy in bulk. I would have given it five stars except for the price. Hack: Open an online acct with those stores and try to order it now. If they're out of stock they'll let you know when they have more. You'll be ready for next summer! Someone commented that you can also run a bit on your wet hair while at the beach or pool and it protects your hair from the sun and makes it soft and shiney but I didn't go to the beach this year so I didn't try that suggestion myself. Hope this review was helpful!

I have dry skin, but don't like putting oil on it as it stays so "oily!" This is creamy and is absorbed right away - love it!

I bought this product in hopes that it would repeal mosquitoes. After reading several reviews about it working as well as the green bottle of Johnson's Creamy Oil and I was so excited to try it out. My kids played outside for several hours and they did have a couple of mosquito bites. I can't definitively say that the lotion worked as a repellent because they did get bit. Maybe if I reapplied the lotion after so long it would have done better.

lovely to use, leaves your skin feeling moisturised and nourished. It has a light fragrance which bugs seem not to like. On a recent trip, where we were told to bring bug spray, we used the creamy oil and no bites when other folks did get bitten. So i recommend
