I sprayed this on the hinges of two wrought iron gates because they weren't closing as before, and there was no difference after spraying them exceptfor a foul flammable smell?

Great product, unfortunately the manufacturer has poor quality control. Out of a pack of 12, three cans were unusable and two were severely dented.

I rebuild antique furniture and use this product to lubricate the wooden drawer bottoms and internal drawer guides. Makes the drawers glide in & out easily with one finger. I have not used it for other lubrication, so I can't comment on that.
