If you are buying this item as both a helmet liner and neck/wind protection as shown in the photo of this item, skip it. The product barely covers the underside of the chin, leaving a significant gap between the bottom of the helmet and the top of my Alpinestar motorcycle jacket, or my 1 piece race suit. Until I find a one piece unit like the one that is actually pictured, I will use my standard light weight helmet liner, and my light weight neck piece for weather above 55 degrees. There is zero sun protection during sunny months with the neck exposed for extended periods of time with this product.

Mesh material is rough, it's not smooth so it doesn't feel great on your face or neck. Also it's short, so it barely covers your neck. I have a big head, and this is the first helmet liner I've had that isn't overly tight, it fits well on big heads. That's a good thing, because the mesh material isn't very stretchy. I'll use it until I can find something better. it's a 3-star product for sure.

This is a simple and well fitting head sock. I haven’t used it on a hot day yet but it doesn’t appear that it will make you feel more hot. It was shipped quick by seller.

I used it for auto racing and it was perfect. Other balaclavas cover your mouth, which makes it difficult to breathe in the FL heat. This one was just right.
