This is the 4th or 5th jacket like this I have bought for my husband. Except in blizzard conditions, it's the one he grabs heading outdoors. For rain or cold, it protects while giving him more flexibility than a heavy jacket.

I searched for a coat made in the USA. This one came up. And with a name like Joe's USA, I thought it was American made. Not so. Made in Viet Nam. Very disappointed in that. Misleading name. Maybe it says "imported" in the item description, I don't remember. But my search terms said USA made and this came up first.It's also kinda noisy. The exterior shell is a stiff nylon. Not inflexible. Movement is fine. Just noisy.That said, it's comfortable, warm and seems well made. I'll keep it and wear it. I'm sure it's waterproof. I hope I get used to the rustling of the nylon.

I was looking for a jacket to wear in the fall and winter up here in the Pacific Northwest. It needed to be at the minimum water resistant. From the other reviews I thought I would have to wear a hoodie under it to keep warm in the winter. Nope. This jacket kept me warm all winter! We had two major storm this past winter with over 18" in a 24 hour period and a rain/snow/ice storm that shut down the area for 3-4 days.Great jacket, great fit, will buy another color if it's still available this come fall.
