I have huge lacrosse cold weather boots for ice fishing. They are akin to muck boot arctic ice boots. The massive back of the boot destroyed a cheaper narrower boot jack but this one does the job perfectly every time.

This boot jack was so easy to use my husband asked for one for at home!Because of the construction and materials, this is easy to use and clean. If fact, it's so easy to use my whole family uses it and then rinsed it off afterward and leaves it hanging by the wash sink in the mud room. No more sloppy mud, water and/or snow all over my floors!

Works great, no more contouring to remove your boots. A little pricey though.

This boot jack works just fine. All of the rubber pieces have come off. The pad on top lasted two uses. The others a little longer. As long as I remember to make sure the insert is in right before I put the heel of my boot in it, it's fine. If you are looking for a cheap boot jack, this fits the bill. I'll probably end up buying a better quality one though.

I read the reviews and when I received the boot jack, I wasn't surprised that the piece of wood underneath was a little feeble feeling. There was just a little wobble, and at 220 lbs, I'm thinking I should do something before it breaks as I'm trying to wrestle some boots off.I removed a little bit of the rubber grip on the upper piece of wood, exposing the two screw heads. The screws were removed, and I sanded the varnish off of the two pieces of wood where they come in contact. I used wood glue to reattach the two, and put in three much longer screws into the block, predrilling, so as not to break the wood.I think this will hold up well, and the size of the boot jack is good, and allows me to remove my large boots.
