Great price. Quality is surprisingly nice for the price. Used all summer and everything works no issues with zippers. Holds all my flys and extra. Dries fast

I got this life jacket for kayaking and I wore it out for about 4 hours straight. the life jacket was comfy and was extremely handy at keeping all my extra stuff (sunglasses, snacks, fishing license, extra carabiners, etc) safe without making me feel bulky or heavy. it was very hot that day and i was worried id feel overheated but the life jacket was cool and had a low waist so i could move my arms to padddle without feel itchy. the color is also great and noticeable which makes me feel a little more secure being in/on the water.only con was i’m 4’10” and my stature is pretty fit so i got the smallest size and it still is loose on me. however it came with an extra strap and i ran it through some loops at the bottom to tie it to me and it worked perfectly. one extra buckle at the bottom would really help but there is a solution provided which is nice.

Did I mention this thing has a lot of pockets ? Not counting the 3 areas where the foam is enclosed, there are 13 individual storage areas/pockets. Each zipper has a pull cord which makes them easy to open and close. There are also 6 sewn in straps where you can hang things in addition to 4 sewn in cords for attaching items. On the top back is a plastic clip most likely designed to hang this vest up. On the bottom of each front panel, there are plastic clips/buckles (a 6 foot strap was inside one of the pockets) for unknown reasons, but I would imagine you could rig this up as a belly strap to keep the vest from rising up if you fell in the water. The foam is more for comfort than life saving in my opinion. I have yet to test this, but when you remove the foam you will notice it doesn't have much substance, but I'm sure it will help. I'm 6ft & 180lbs and the vest is easily adjustable height/width with plenty of room to accommodate larger folks. Just in terms of storage capacity and downright comfort, this vest is absolutely worth the price.

Love that this life jacket doubles as a fishing vest. It's pretty comfortable and nice wide arm holes so there's no rubbing when I'm paddling. Lots of pockets. Great price!

Kayak fishing. I didn’t try swimming in it to test buoyancy but I believe it would be fine. Plenty of zippered pockets to hold items necessary to get to quickly. Yellow color excellent for visibility on the water. Overall, great product and quality for the price. Fits large frames just fine with room to spare.

The look of this vest is perfect and the functionality is everything you could want for a fly fishing vest. Tons of pockets, clips, and tie off points. It fits my 270 pound, 6 foot frame with adjustment left to spare. I would say it could be adequate up to a 3xl mens. I like the floatation option for deep water wading as it gives some security to the potentially of being swept down river by fast water. The only downfall is that it is not USCG approved and therefore is not legal for boating use as a pfd in my home state. I do not see any restriction of movement as the strap design and compact pouches leave your arms free to move, even with the added foam.
