This is the first time in my art career i’ve had a physical portfolio and its great for the cost. The clear plastic pages are a bit thin but it works great and does what i need it to do.

This portfolio appears to be PVC and acid-safe for your paintings. I plan to store my watercolors and sketches in it. The 9X12-inch size is ideal for larger paintings. At first, the portfolio did not lay flat when opened, as the manufacturer guaranteed in the product description. However, with further manipulation of the plastic front and back, the plastic cover can be made to lay flat. While the plastic cover may be waterproof, it will not protect your artwork. The plastic cover does not guard the sheet protectors' top, right-hand side, and bottom. Water can and will seep into the artwork. This is simply an easy way to organize and store your artwork, but it will not preserve it. A product with those features would cost much more than this portfolio. Regardless, this portfolio has its place and can be of use.

This is a really nice portfolio, suitable for archival material, including professional artwork. The manufacturer indicates it is acid free, PVC free, and lignin free. The cover is thick and sturdy. The page protectors are securely attached to the spine. Each page protector includes a black inner sheet of paper in case some of your materials are smaller and to not have any show through. This is also a good quality product for business reports or to save your children's best artwork through the years or each year.

I ordered the 11x17 size which fits some gig posters as well as random artwork. I'm using it to organize memorabilia that I have saved over the years. The portfolio is acid free and includes black paper in the middle of each pocket. It's lightweight and easy to use. The problem that I have with it is that the plastic sleeves are VERY thin and you have to handle them very carefully when sliding your items in because they wrinkle and crease extremely easily.

I’ve been taking art lessons and everything we paint is 9x12 on canvas paper so I was acquiring quite a pile of work. I was starting to worry that they might get damaged and I also wanted to be able to look at the individual pieces, which was difficult when they were just piled in a drawer. Now each exercise has its own page and is easy to find and look at. I feel very professional now!

The JJRING art portfolio is great for displaying artwork and for the various certificates we receive from school. I like the added black pages that serve as background to the art/certificates that are not exactly 9x12 and the added benefit of the portfolio being archival safe. Recommend!
