Rated 5 because it’s great for the price, even though it is made out of cheap plastic! You still have to take care of your camera! Keep it closed and dirt won’t get in it to make it stick.It did temporarily get stuck after leaving it open on the beach and getting sand in it, I simply removed it and cleaned the sand out and it works fine again.

I was always worried about scratching the protective glass over the lens when this camera was turned loose in my backpack. This eliminates that worry! Seems like this should come with the Olympus TG series cameras from the factory. Cheap enough.

The lens cap fits my TG-7 perfectly. Installation is simple and easy. The action to open the lens cover is smooth and not too loose. Great product.

I loved this initially. It's low profile and adds little to the thickness and bulk of the camera in your pocket. Quick to activate with just a twist of the wrist. Nothing dangling down and getting in your way. Nothing to get lost. Perfect!But then... After a while, it gets gummed up, swells in the heat, or something. The window gets hard to open with the wrist twist. And eventually, it refuses to open at all. After a couple of months of usage, you can't get it to open at all. Worthless.I bought a second one, figuring maybe I just had a defective item. But the 2nd one did the same thing.A great idea, that doesn't last.

This lens cap did the job it was intended to do. I thought I was getting the Olympus version. This one resists turning to open and close. Reviews talked about it being difficult to move if the hands were wet. Since it is going on an underwater camera, that might be an issue for me. As a result, I returned it.

I purchased this lens cap in April. Didn’t really use it until we took a vacation to Utah to visit 4 National Parks. After 10 days of use, it wouldn’t open. I had to remove the lens cap altogether in order to take pictures the rest of my trip. I contacted the manufacturer and they responded once but did nothing and I never heard back again from them. I don’t recommend this product.

Great way to protect your Lens. Much better than a lens cap. Easier to fit in camera bag. Highly recommend this product. Easy to install. No special attachment to use. Just remove ring and put this on instead. Wish I would have ordered this sooner. The only thing to remember is you have to open lens cover manually. But it’s very easy.FYI does not come with much instructions.

Fits on the TG-6 with ease. Looks good and should protect the lens. The actuation of the open/close of the cover was a bit stiff.

Installs easily on the ring of TG-5. Most of the material feels decent, but the lens cover itself is easily shifts open if you put gentle pressure on it. It will provide basic protection from fingerprints (which is the main reason I got it for) but won't offer much resistance to a blunt object. As long as you have the right expectation, I think this cover works just fine.
