The cutting shaft is about two times longer than it should be being only 1 MM the tool does not take movement well if you want to cut at a snails pace ok but try to cut with any speed they snap off to about 1/2 their length then they work pretty good I snapped off on to see how it works and I got a lot of good work off that cutter

Lengths varied a bit, which doesn't matter much for me. The cutter diameter I got was 1.45mm. I didn't return because it happened to fit my needs well enough. They've performed well machining aluminum.

With the 3018 cnc carving very slow on .5mm cut per pass. Cutters broke very easily while carving soft maple.

I use it to cut silver 925. They last enough an gave a nice finish to surface. They broke if your tolerance fail. Up to 150mm per minute, .12 doc and 10,0000 rpm. Maybe you can find e better and long lasting one but not at this price.

Cheap... 3 broken bits within an hour on my cnc...you get what you pay for I guess. I run bits at a consistent speeds with no issues. I bought these because they were cheap and that’s what I got... they break at low speeds and it’s annoying

For everyone complaining the bits are different sizes read the listing carefully "Total length: approx. 38.00±0.20mm " key term APPROXIMATELY. Our engraver machine uses these and if we purchase direct from the manufacturer we pay 10X more. So we need to adjust the head depth every time we use these, not a big deal.

I ordered this product not for its intended use on pcb's. I wanted to make very small cuts in MDF. Well , i didnt get very far, snapped 3 bits in a couple minutes and called it quirs. It may work fine for PCB's but if youre thinking of using it on wood, think again
