Shortly after i bought this my snake began to get scale rot. i have never had issues with his scales before until this. I believe this hide could be the reason why due to the rough surface which caused irritation to the scales. its also a very small hide if you are look for a bigger hide this is definitely not it. I would recommend going to a pet store for a hide instead of buying this one.

This product came in good condition and look awesome in my tank. If I had a bigger tank I would buy another one.
