Works right out of the box. I was able to use both the native resolution and refresh rate of my VGA monitor. The display name even shows up on windows instead of the name of the adapter. If you're strapped for cash, this plus a VGA monitor from goodwill are pretty great for a secondary display.

Lo usé para conectar un proyector que cuando lo conectaba con un cable de 3 mts. Si funcionaba y cuando lo conecté a un cable de 15 mts. No! Así que con este amplificador de señal, el problema se solucionó

This could not keep up with the data stream from google Chromecast going to a 15 pin sub-D VGA connector -- RGB into a Pioneer 50 inch plasma screen. It freezes the video stream every few seconds momentarily and the the audio drops out as well.

We have an old projector at our Church with a VGA connection and needed to update it for the newer computers to use HDMI instead. This solution worked well. I plugged in a DVD/Blu-ray player, which could play movies using the projector. A good solution for converting the HDMI to a VGA connection.

I learned something... Just because you buy a VGA to HDMI cable to use a PC with a flatscreen TV, it doesn't mean it's just going to work like a monitor and a PC. Apparently monitors are designed to work with PCs so buying a two-way cable to adapted video feed works. My Flatscreen TV however, could not find the signal when switching to HDMI 1. That's when I figured I needed some kind of special converter and went browsing on Amazon. The JideTech 1080P VGA to HDMI Converter work great!Easy to setup and use and comes with screw holes so you can mount this to your wall/tv if need be.The only question now is, how long will it last... I guess I'll find out.

I'm preparing to purchase a new TV to replace my ancient relic that had a VGA input on it. My A/V setup includes a computer with an VGA output, to stream online courses and such. I've previously had a great deal of trouble with such converters. Either they are very limited in resolutions they can convert, or have a very bad conversion quality. This one just worked! When I set the computer to a lower resolution that's uncommon these days, it followed right along without complaining. The sound adapter was also perfect. It's also built like a tank. A bit pricey but I ended up feeling that it was good value for the money. I would certainly buy another if I needed this functionality again.

Product works exactly as described and feels more solid and reliable compared to cheaper, smaller in line converters.I (naively) hoped this would support low input VGA resolutions from a 1996 era build but it struggles to resolve signals thru post and refuses to display bios config due to low resolution. Works great for 800x600 and above, 480P sometimes I get it to work but unreliably. I suppose that's the nature of the beast of trying to convert an analog signal to digital; I'll need to shell out extra for an Extron RGB-HDMI 300 to get the capability I need for retro system capture.
