This is waste of money. The joint never fits the flute. The bore is very small. It’s a joke that they make this. Waste of money and waste of time.

As-purchased it did not fit my daughter's Gemeinhardt SP2. I took it to a local guy and he was able to adjust the collar so it fit. Works now - but I had to spend an extra $50 to get a working product.

I needed an adaptive headjoint for one of my students and didn't want to pay more than the value of the school flute. I bought this one on a whim and it fits her Jupiter perfectly. The only downside is that it didn't come with any sort of case, but I actually managed to fit it into a spare glasses case I have.

Bought this to work with young grandson on flute, struggling to reach keys. It perfectly accomplished this goal, but was loose fitting on the Medini flute and didnt stay in position, could slip a small piece of paper to make it work, (saw a flute website mention small piece of Teflon tape) but not something he could assemble himself. Circumference was too big for the Yamaha student flute we had. Another option is to take this to a flute tech and have the circumference adjusted to fit whatever flute you're attaching to. It accomplishes our purpose to get him started and confident to blow and learn fingerings, but would probably not be something he can use himself and intonation is going to be marginal.

Fit an old Emerson body perfectly! The sound is pretty good and so is the intonation. I'm not sure that the cork is well fitted, but for the price, it's a fantastic deal. Hopefully it will last and work well until my daughter doesn't need the curve anymore (she's 8). Only time will tell.

I bought just one of these to test for it with our school Yamaha flutes. It fit nicely and made the flute much easier for my 4th graders to hold. I ordered two more and they didn’t fit into the same flute at all, too big. It took me a lot of time and effort using a tenon shrinking tool to bring the size down to fit. The price is cheap and I guess you shouldn’t expect top quality at that price. Only worth buying if you have the capability to adjust the tenon to fit your instrument. Edit: bought two more and they are even larger than the second abs third ones. It is knuckle busting work to bring them down to size but still, if it helps the kids play easier, worth the effort. Consequently, these head joint don’t fit my own Olds flute, too small. So I guess they are in the middle somewhere, too large for Yamaha, small for the Olds. Maybe some flute out there is just right?
